FYI...found out today that Wildcat14 is a girl and looks to be very healthy!  Mrs11 and myself are pumped up and looking forward to molding her to love everything Linfield and despise Willamette and PLU. (only kidding...kind of)  ;)

Redlands bound for sure. She will definitely be rebelling against all things Linfield by the time she hits 18.

Not a chance she's headed to Redlands.  But I could see Willamette looking for another place kicker ... ;)

Congrats, 11!

I'm pretty sure WildCat 11's little girl will not be a place kicker....linebacker maybe... :)

Good news for knee ligaments all around the NWC.  L&C is finally getting rid of their old school AstroTurf and going with a new AstroTurf grass.  About time....

Is it me or shouldn't they have strapped a few line men to those turf rollers to "roll up" the old turf instead of using a tractor....
Go Cats!

D O.C.

If it's not an insurance problem then, yes, that L&C program lost a team building moment that just might have insured them getting by Pacific.  ;D

OK everyone. Time to do some sprints to cut that appetite down before you gorge.

I love how that stuff is thrown on top of cement... not exactly the most forgiving surface to play a full contact sport on.

No doubt...will never forget the day we lost three 'Cats to ACL tears on that stuff.  Glad to see it go!

BTW...happy birthday to D O.C.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that's the way to think...I'll bet a certain #28 is keenly aware of
what that means as well!  It's gonna be great to have all the pounders
back this year...let's roll!

Former Linfield All-Star Defensive End, Kelley Bertrand ('04), send WC11 a short story he wrote during a restless night.  Pretty cool story about Kelley coming up through the youth ranks, high school, and Linfield.  Posted up a link to download the story on the ADvantage.

Thank-you WC11, for the birthday shout out.

I, too, am determined to come back from a devastating injury that has me on the sideline (beached) for 3-6 weeks. The day before the birthday I had two long, long rides at Doheny Beach in 5-6 foot surf brought to us by a hurricane off New Zealand in the Southern Hemisphere.
The third ride would have been the last but, alas and alack, something odd happened on the take off and I dislocated the big knuckle on the right ring finger and after a momentous shout I paddled the 100 yards to lifeguards on shore with my left arm while the right finger dangled every which way but loose.
Emergency room orthopedic surgeon was a surfer and nudged everything back and told me no surfing until I see him in 3 weeks.
Devastating I tell you!!

D.O.C. I was surfing at Doheny in the 4th... Crowded but good. For surf like that I thought you would tape it up and play through it?

D O.C.

Yeah...well....I taped it up and followed doctor's orders... so far.
I never have recovered from a strained left hamstring trying a cheater five with no wax on the nose; sat right out on the leg and I'm told I'm 25% stationary permanent - never will recover.
You may to continue to surf all National Holidays for me.   8-)

2000 "On The Inside"  WC11, I was actually taken back at seeing MUD on the uniforms.
