BearcatPress,

Your 'Around the Region' article was stunning.  ;)

For the record, I won't write about Willamette every week.  I mean, they do have a bye on the 25th ...

For those who didn't know already, Adam Johnson stepped down as the writer for Around the West this season, and Pat and Keith were nice enough to ask me to take over.  You'll be able to find my columns all season long under "Around the Region" at D3football.com.

I will be making a trip to Oregon on October 14 to visit my daughter, who is in her first year of law school at Lewis & Clark in Portland. We plan to make the trip to McMinnville on Saturday, October 16 for the Linfield homecoming game when they host Pacific. Really looking forward to that. Hopefully Bluenote will have a few complimentary tickets for his favorite Johnnie fan. ::) I'm assuming there will be a tailgate party prior to the game that we could attend.

Hey Johnnie Red...check your PM.

You'd better keep the tailgate far enough from the field then cause I hear the Rocketman is going to be blasting off!  GO CATS!

TuxGuy,
Welcome back! I've missed you and will look forward to seeing you on Oct 2.

BearcatPress,
Congrats on your promotion and nice work. You always do a good job in my book.

Johnnie Red,
Come on, buddy. You're a judge, so you can cough up the money for a couple tickets. It's homecoming!
