Wildcat'64

Best to Arlin Taylor from all of us Cat fans.....we've been there in the past and it always hurts the overall program to see a young student/athlete go down and not be able to finish out the season.

ppj:
I heard your name during the broadcast today. I couldn't tell you exactly what was said, but it included the word tailgate. Perhaps another Linfield poster could fill you in. You could even listen to the archived radio broadcast (if they still do that) to hear it yourself.

GO CATS!
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

What a stomp'n the Cats put on yesterday! Nice Going! It'd be fun to see the University of St. Thomas vs. Linfield again in the Playoffs... In OUR house this time though!!!  :D

As much as we love our Catdome atmosphere...I'm thinking that if our 2010 track takes us [through]O'Shaughnessy...that would be ok. ;)

Traveled up to Tacoma again yesterday to watch the Loggers play PLU. Puget Sound played as well as they have in a long while, ran the ball with impunity on the Lutes, played excellent defense with the exception of a few mental lapes, which is typical.

Duncan White threw a td pass to tie the game with 21 seconds left, and... a mental lapse. Ford runs a caught pass down the sideline to the 47, and we HIT HIM OUT OF BOUNDS for a 15 yard penalty, making the game winning FG possible.

Sheesh...two heartbreakers in a row for PS. I sure hope the guys can recover again and play Linfield tough. The Cats are on a roll...what an impressive victory over Willamette.

Good catch on the poll. It's a Presto bug that I figured out a workaround for last week but forgot to do this time around.

What a great Cats game yesterday!!  Holding the Bearkitties to only 7 points was huge (although they did miss two easy field goals).  From my view it appeared that the cats did pretty good with tackling.  Missed a few assignments which gave up the big play which happens against WIllammette too often.  However they bent but did not break.  Great job D.  Awesome pressure.  Very exciting watching Hedin and Gonzalez on the DLine.  Wow!
Offense ooked great as well.  Timing appeared to still be a bit rusty but got it when it counted.  Still a little worried about our run game though.  Looking forward to some first hand reviews!  Great week Cats.

Idalogger.  A late hit??!!  bummer.  But the loggers are showing some real promise.  Need to keep it up and now finish.  Get some more logger posters on here while you're at it!

Now just waiting for some Pio posters?  They're lurking out there.  Cmon, we'll go easy on ya.

Pat, do you read every post on every board?  How the heck do you do it?!  Great work on the D3 site.  Thanks again!

Found that tackling was improved quite a bit but still saw a few times where guys tried to knock down the ball carrier by driving their shoulders into the guys legs, stomach etc. but failing to wrap the arms around him.  In a few instances this resulted in the tackler bouncing off and the ball carrier continuing on.  Still some work to do on that front.  Was very happy to see no Sacks on Boehme ysterday.  Good play by the line but must point out that Willamette was using a 3 man front all day and didn't use a lot of blitzes.  As for the running game--it looked better in the 2nd half probably because Boehme ran more which made the D have to keep their eyes on him rather than just keying off the back.
Go Cats!
