Well, Bearcat Press was already on here -- that leaves me & maybe one other that haven't been scared off by the Linfield posters over the years.   I agree with BCP -- our team's performance yesterday sucked!   Not the WU team that I was expecting to show up.   Probably a similar feeling you all had when you went to Cal Lu?  So, I have three questions: 

Did Linfield have an impressive victory over a great Bearcat team or just swoop over one that sucked?  You know you don't get to have it both ways, right?

And, WHY on earth did your coach leave your starting QB in during the 4th quarter, up 28 points and 4 minutes left to play?

Is PLU the only undefeated team in the NWC?  If so, why aren't they ranked?

1- Impressive victory-- I expect WU to run the rest of the table with big numbers
2- This is not a game to leave to chance  WU has a history of putting numbers up in bunches-- He kept his foot on the gas  I doubt it has nothing to do with WU putting 50 on us back a couple of years-- or not--Coaches call all the way

Thanks, GHC & Monrovia Cat.    I was pretty impressed with Boehme on Saturday--kept wondering why the WU defense didn't just focus on him.   Maybe they did, but just couldn't contain him.   Definitely was a bad day for the Bearcats!   I also wondered why we didn't use one of our other 2 QB's -- eventually did, but too little, too late.   BTW don't pick on the freshman kicker--his missed field goals were a tiny part of the problem.  Team needs an overhaul this week.   Maybe they'll re-think scheduling a Bye the week before playing Linfield.

Hope you're right, GHC, about WU winning the rest of their games.   If that happens it'll be you & WU at the top of the conference again, assuming Linfield wins all of theirs.     PLU is a real threat.   They beat Cal Lu, who beat Linfield & Redlands -- not lightweight teams.   It's going to be an interesting season -- even L&C is winning.

Yeah -- I think we're not quite sure what to make of PLU until they play Linfield. Also interested to see what they do against Whitworth.

After watching Linfield play Willamette....I think they are ALMOST tight enough to challenge any of the top 5 teams. But if they get a big head and let down, they will not succeed. It takes teamwork and effort in practice AND games. But I liked what I saw on Saturday.  Can't wait to see the game up at UPS....!

Thanks to the pollsters for moving the Cats up a couple of slots....well deserved after their impressive handling of Willamette.  Truth of the matter is the polls mean little at this point in the season and are more about bragging rights rather than who has the best team in the nation.  The real poll results will come in mid-December at the Stagg Bowl.

HEY D.O.C ----THANKS for yelling out to me on CLU sidline VS Redlands 10-2-2010.I walked entire Mount Clef Stadium  In  "the great city of " Thousand Oaks Ca. looking for u and OXY BOB on 9-11--2010 game in [AKA] 1,000 Oaks but never found u guys! I went to tailgate areas in Redlands looking for u-------came up empty.Glad u met kingsmen 4 and 2009 CLU QB Jerrico Toilolo in end zone where Jeff Miller blocked field goal with 16 seconds left in game. Miller saw I was disturbed with like 3 minutes left and said do not suffer" anxiety" attacks-----I,LL do something for u. GUT--- DOG--- D.O.C.---Jeff blocked FG ----GAME OVER and I had to rush to locker room area to pay pizza deliverly man  for 57 PIZZA;S to feed "HONGRY"-----CLUMEN. WHAT not to like about d-3 football ?-----I like it better than upper divisions .

I really punked out on the game Saturday....I'm just like LND....can't handle all that anxiety....just getting to old.  Well anyway...it sounds like the Wildcats just phoned it in as BearcatPress reported that the Bearkitties didn't make it off of the bus.  However, I am already getting nervous to hear that PLU and even the Loggers might be up for a real game this season...and of course the Rats will play us tough just because we are the team to beat and would make their miserable season a success if they get lucky like the CLU and meet us on their hottest day of the year....But then again that's not likely to happen. as the real Cats showed up yesterday. after their preseason warmup games...games that don't matter a bit cause it's one game at time and every game is for all the marbles from now on.

Just stay healthy and hang on to the darn ball, make sure tackles and we won't get beat.

Can't wait to hear WC11's take on the game.
