Be sure to contribute to the tip jar while you're there.

:-X
I got your tip jar dude !!
We had a couple of the Island dads drop in on our tailgate at UPS.  They decided to partake an electric longie or two.  One of the dads poured a big glass and then reached in his pocket and tried to give me a $10 bill.  I clarified that the 10 on ole blue doesn't mean a charge but rather indicates a Wildcat season.  The numbers go all of the way back to 03.  At that point I think he adjusted his glasses, smiled and was good to go.

No tip jar at our tailgates  Just Catdome-- Phone it in !!

Hey there everyone, just introducing myself on the board. I've been following the NWC and other West regions boards for quite some time now, and finally decided to speak up. My allegiance obviously lies with my beloved Bearcats, but I'm all for great discussion on every team in this conference. Go Bearcats!

Yeah, at least UPS made him work for it unlike Willamette where he just walked into the endzone.  ;)

Welcome to the board BearcatChatter!  :)

Always great to get more people on the board...WELCOME...and post often!

PS...it would be cool to get some Pacific posters going. I really appreciate the fact that Pacific brought back football. I think Forest Grove is a nice town and Pacific will do well as a football team.

R&P,

I couldn't believe you pulled that off like you did. Maybe others knew, but I had no idea you had a son on the team. I can't imagine that you would have ever embarrassed him, but I admire you for sticking to your son's request.
We have a couple dads of present Linfield players who post and they are all class.

idalogger,
Your son is lucky that you come watch him play. When I was in college my family was able to see only one game a year due to distance. That part is missing for some kids.
The friendships I made in Linfield football are some of the best I have to this day, however, and I hope it is the same for your son, regardless of the record UPS ends up with.

You and logger54 are great additions to the NWC board.

Yes, at times it was difficult not to mention on this board that my son was an o-lineman for the CATS. I agree with everything you said about the Linfield parent posters and your comment to logger54 and idalogger. I threw some karma your way.

GO CATS!

Oh, I remember your boy, R&P. As big as he was, he was kinda hard to miss! He was a heck of a player for the 'Cats.

GHC,

Did those Island guys grow some hair on their chests from drinking out of Old Blue?
Our friend Olinemom said that people sometimes insist on giving the Stone Station folks money at their tailgates and when that happens, they donate it to the football team. Of course at Linfield that would have to go to the whole athletic dept.

Welcome, BearcatChatter.
