And the Lutes can not afford a lost. Because they still have to play L&C and then WU. Two tough games.

OK - I know I am the new guy around here - but has anyone EVER called L&C a tough game on this board before? I'm so proud!!!

Wish I could be there to share a cold one with you and your son, GHC.  I can think of a few things we can toast to. Maybe some day.  Best of luck to the Cats this weekend.  :-*

With Pacific and then George Fox renewing their programs, the Lemon's still have a few more Oregon schools to coach at.

I don't think there's a person on this board who isn't happy to see L&C putting together such a solid season.  They're actually getting support from the college administration (terrific new field, new uniforms, larger coaching staff, bigger recruiting budget), and Coach Sulages and his staff have really been building the program.

Barring a total collapse, I think we can safely declare the Pioneers back from the dead. :)  A belated welcome to the board, Piobark.

And before I forget again, it was great to meet FightBearcats and reconnect with idalogger at the Willamette/UPS game last weekend.  Idalogger - let me know if you're coming to Salem during baseball season this year.

Yes. Father and one of the boys (who played at Linfield) are now coaching at L&C.  One son is listed as a senior for Willamette this year.  I'm not sure if he's the youngest...but that would make sense.
