  I got to hold her for the first time earlier today--Had to cut the visit short as Nike phoned in and they are in town for Mom and Dad to sign Grace's shoe contract.  Kel said that she will be bringing Grace to the Linfield football game on Sat.  Got to start things off right--Thats the way we do it in our family !!

Let's just blitz the tar out of Welch's offensive line from the get go. So he can run around back there; not all game.
Of course, this is based on I have not seen him. Doesn't matter. He's a  f r e s h m a n.

DOC, I think people have been saying that all year about Welch. Don't look past him so quickly. He's a pretty darn good freshman. Plus if you aren't careful, He'll PEEEEEE all over the Catdome!!!

Wow...Thanks everyone for the great well wishes..I would have been on here sooner but we've been a little busy!   

I put up a little blog post with some more detail about the past 24 hours.  Grace is absolutely incredible (and yes I know all dad's think and say that...but it's true! ).  I promise never to go all "Snoop Dawg" on you, this  or any other posting board. However, if I do and if any of you catch me on a softball board or hoops board in 18 years touting scholarship offers from Louisville you have to right to -K me until the cows come home.

 Don't.  I'd expect nothing less, and if I'm ever privileged enough to become a father myself, you'd better believe Linfield's going to get the same treatment!  Got to get the little ones early.

Welch may be a freshman, but he is performing at the D3 level like some of the best of the freshman quarterbacks at the BCS level.
