Well, as I figured, I just became a Cat fan for the duration.  >:( I'll call that earlier defeat an anomaly not a fluke.

The Linfield loss to CLU, not the PLU loss to Linfield, lest any of you cats interpret my message incorrectly.

Interesting Bracket this year--won't see Whitewater till the Stagg Bowl this time (if both teams get that far).  And we could see Mt. for the first time if both teams win their regions!  I think we got a pretty good setup.  Sure we will have to beat some good teams but I think the North and South Brackets are the hardest to navigate this year....
Go Cats!

After the cats... my new favorite team is the Benedictine Eagles. I want a Thanksgiving treat at the Catdome!

Probably not smart to post such a thing, but I will spend the rest of the day looking for airfare to St. Paul, Minnesota

UWWhitewater on the road for the first round? Is that correct? It's being complained about over on their side of the board.
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Hey Doc,

been there done that.. it's 1776 miles,  I think my little VW bus just might be heading east unless we get a big surprise from benedictine and some help from bethel and coe both.  ;)

No, UWW is a number two seed, meaning that they will have to travel for the quarterfinals if no upsets occur. We're all complaining about getting screwed out of a number 1 seed.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. Because UWW was on the top of the bracket I thought they were going to have to travel. Usually the home team is listed below the visiting team or the (at) is placed before the teams name. Thanks again MJ. +K for you.

Happy hunting in the playoffs Cats.  I have to say I am disappointed by the Lutes not getting a bid.  I thought for sure a top 25 ranking and a solid win over the SCIAC champ would yeild some results.

We did what we needed to, but didn't get the nod.  Maybe next year.  Go NWC.
GO FOR TWO

CatDad

We are eternally grateful to the committee for saving us the cost of airfare at least for the first week.....

As for yesterday... the Cats got to get some much needed rest for some key players.... I can see where Welch could have caused some problems yesterday but at the same time the Cats were very well prepared defensively....

214 yds and 4 tds by half is ok I guess  :-)

CATDOME BABY!!!

GO CATS!!!

As long as they get a video feed deal hashed out I'm not gonna complain...but it would have been nice for us SoCal guys to get another game in person----can't justify spending over 500 bucks to make the trip north....
Go Cats!
