We are eternally grateful to the committee for saving us the cost of airfare at least for the first week.....

As long as they get a video feed deal hashed out I'm not gonna complain...but it would have been nice for us SoCal guys to get another game in person----can't justify spending over 500 bucks to make the trip north....

I hear you MC!! Sorry it worked out that way but oh what a GREAT opportunity for our Cats!!

GO CATS!!!

After the cats... my new favorite team is the Benedictine Eagles. I want a Thanksgiving treat at the Catdome!

Good luck with that! ;D  Benedictine lost by 11 to North park, who has not won a CCIW game this millennium! :P

Tuxguy

My favorite so far is St. Lawrence............

Go 5-1 in league and 5-5 over all and live to play this coming Saturday?
Nice to have an auto-bid when your a .500 ball club.

Off to cut the turf.

GO WILDCATS!
One Game at A Time!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Being a SoCal guy I also would love to see the Cat's down here but I am happy that all the Cat supportors get a playoff game in the Catdome...kind of nice for CaLu seeing that they will get to play back to back games in the Catdome ;)

So is there going to be a video webcast for us longdistanceCats or is that LDCats?
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

What did Pacific Lutheran do to irritate the NCAA? In the spring it was baseball, now in football - bubble team getting ignored two sports in a row....

Really sorry for you guys PLU... should have been there...

Meanwhile, time to switch jerseys and bark in favor of Linfield... tough for us dogs to root for a cat - but ya gotta do what ya gotta do...

I think the answer to PLU (and several other teams who didn't make it or made it but feel like they got shafted anyway) is that the SOS was a major factor in this years decisions.  PLU had a pretty low one....heck whitwater is a #2 team (and 5th overall) because they had a low SOS....It also didn't help that the field was very competitive this year with so many undefeated and one loss teams....
Go Cats!

Proud Papa Joe

correction- See you at the Catdome

Go Cats

According to the main board, PLU SOS was .490 - and two other 9-1 teams got in with .493... Pretty darn close...

No doubt--but .493 is still better than .490 (and one of those teams had a 9-1 regional record vs. PLUs 7-1)....
Go Cats!

I kind of like being the "underdog" here in the West.......I hope it gets our guys up and ready to rock the boat!

I think I heard Pat say on ESPN-News that either Linfield or St. Johns was the favorite in the West Bracket.... :)

West is stacked, looks like the toughest region in the playoffs. 1-5 are all very solid teams. that's the one region I can say that I wouldn't be surprised if the 5th ranked team makes it out of that region.
