Seriously though, unless you are handling a camera or something, I'd wear mittens instead of gloves.

I agree.  Plus, you can stick handwarmers in mittens, but not gloves.

Dang...well that's a problem because I will have video camera in tow...It's been cold in PDX but I know St. Paul will be another level of freezing hell.

Thank goodness I can tailgate with any restrictions in my back yard...wow St. Thomas...as Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler of SNL fame would say about the tailgating rules...Really, Really?

Was there specific rules posted somewhere?  I think it's more a matter of there being absolutely nowhere near their stadium to tailgate.  Those prima donnas don't have the luxury of the sprawling acres that us Johnnies do  ;)

Straight from the St. Thomas website....

Prohibited:

                + All alcoholic beverages, regardless of age.
    * Charcoal, wood and other combustible burning materials.
    * Glass containers of any kind.
    * Amplified music or loud and disruptive noise.
    * Buses and RV's.
    * Carry-ins to the stadium.
    * Any non-university sponsored sales of food or merchandise.
    * Animals except service animals for special needs patrons.

Question here.....

What is this "Mall of America" thing I keep reading about?   ::)

IF UMU and STU hold serve, do I want to be staying near that thing?  Evidently it's close to the airport, and only a few miles away from the campus?  Is this true, or am I getting incorrect information?

If Linfield gets it done, well then they will get the joy of coming to Alliance.  Now THAT will be great fun!

As much as it pains me to admit it, UST's policies on tailgating pretty much put a stranglehold on the gameday experience. The optimist in me is hopeful that the recent gridiron revival will bring about some significant change-God knows it's needed. Speaking of God, it may take divine intervention, but we're still holding out hope. There are obviously some tightwads in charge, but football fever has been spreading throughout campus and hopefully they will realize the benefits far outweigh the risks and loosen their sphincters.

Translation, for the short term (Saturday's game) this should mean nothing to you. Unfortunately, we can not offer you a good tailgating experience to ease your disappointment with the outcome of the game ;D, but I'm sure you'll enjoy the pre-game experience at either Tiffany's or Plum's.

I just finished watching a couple of the plays of the week posted on the front page and wanted to say thank you to the videographers who are filming and submitting the plays, to Pat for posting them, and everyone at D3 football. Happy Thanksgiving!

I was just jabbing you for making fun of our dream....According to your profile you've been on the board since 2006, but have not had a lot to say....Just wondered what pushed your button.  Everyone around here knows that AB was the most  unrealistic dreamer around....but he did add a certain flavor to the mix. ;D
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

I was a little disappointed after reading about the 10 finalists for the 2010 Gagliardi Trophy and Aaron Boehme was not included. You can look at it here:  http://www.d3football.com/notables/2010/11/gagliardi-trophy-finalists
Does anyone know how he/Linfield ranked nationally according to stats?
