Arena Football's main web site has just posted up a nice Q&A interview with the league's leading passer and current Linfield QB coach, Brett Elliott.   http://www.arenafootball.com/news/btw-elliott-and-purify-fishing-wins

The Bearcats will have their work cut out for them this fall against the Vikings who look to have a promising spring football camp.  From the Vanguard:

Former Redlands starting middle linebackaer Ian Sluss is on the roster. He was darn good and a big loss for Redlands. I Hope he has a good two years at Portland State.

Mark Kaanapu  the former Menlo head coach is on the Vikings staff.  Coincidence or small world?

The Georgia Force of the Arena Football League win a thriller with a last-minute touchdown thrown by none other than Linfield's own Brett Elliott to pull ahead of the Dallas Vigilantes and win by the final score of 55-48. It was great to watch Brett play again. His passing was spot on and he was very cool under pressure while setting up in the pocket. 8-)
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Yeah, he's been tearing it up so far.  2nd in passing efficiency and has gone 82-130 for 1,165 yards 23 TDs and only 2 picks through the first 4 games.  I think someone mentioned this before but the AFL offers a program you can download to watch games live or watch previous games.

Wow, very cool!  Great to hear he is back under pads and doing so well.  Still marvel at his talent that I had the great fortune to watch live.
BTW, 11 and GHC.  My son passed his latest round of tests.  Made it through the 1st year!   ;)

Pacific Football vs. Willamette Highlights - Oct. 9, 2010

After looking at some of the great plays by the Boxers on the video, who would have guessed
that Willamette outscored the Boxers 69-7.   :)
