Today was as good as any to post this up.  A must watch:

ADvantage Catdome = Intelligence Specialist B.Z. Brown's 2010 Linfield vs Willamette pre-game speech

Excellent speech...very inspirational! Thanks for sharing it.

Some people, like WC11, actually have to work. So here's a link to Linfield's first set of recruits...I hope the masses are pleased

Just love it!  Coaches went small numbers but big talent.  Probably a few more guys to add and then some transfers to flesh it out.  It's going to be another impact class.

CONGRESS STICKS NOSE INTO BCS BUSINESS

What is going on?  Can this be an issue that concerns government?
Being a D3 guy; I'm not up to speed on the money(plenty of it no doubt) and politics of big time college football.

I'll bet more than a few of us could be diverted to this topic, if it's interesting, at this time of year.  I still have a few weeks of "Fill-in" time before I start paying attention to OUR D3 system of picking a winner.
What say you?

Riiinnnng-Riiinnng......Riiinnng-Riiinng.....HELLO!

Yes....uh huh....Ya but I'm still reading the bio briefs on the lads.

What do you mean, "Hurry Up"?  These things can't be rushed.

No, I don't think 19 seems like a small group...didn't you hear 11 say that
there's still some "Fleshing Out" to come?

Ok...fine....Yes, I agree they are fine looking group of Frosh.
Of course I agree with 11....Quality over Quantity.

Remember last year...man o man...what a class they had to manage.  There must have been at least 80 new guys suit up in August.  Baby...from coaching point of view that's gotta be good stuff, but what a job to sort through!

No, I don't really know what I'm talkin about...come on man, give a guy a break...You know I love these guys no matter what and I'll say all sort of crazy things in support of them regardless...  End of story.

Yes...I will keep answering the phone...jeeeezzzz!
;)

Even after the end of NFL Europa, Europe has been the land of opportunity for former college football players who want to continue to play, and maybe have a shot at the NFL or Canada.  Playing in Europe today for Americans must be like a semester abroad except without the classes, where you are paid to play and get to experience Europe at the same time.  The Bearcats appear to have a big contingent of former college footballers in Finland, of all places.

The Jyväskylä Jaguaarit from the Finnish Top Division has signed its final Import for the 2011 season in Jake Forshey.

More NWC presence in Europe.  How's the German beer guys?   8-)

Boehme, Nishizaki to continue careers in Germany

Any guys that could make an impact right out of the gate? Probably too early to tell? Hows the QB situation going..... along with D-Line and Receivers? Should be a great year! Big challenge in the 1st game. Cal Luth will be hungry.

Blue,

I believe there are going to be some Frosh that will see time early, like the previous classes.  The ADvantage has had position group wraps on D-Line and WR.  We'll be touching base on the QB job this week or early next week.

6t3bird

Very good looking class! Lots of guys who may make immediate impact!

Let's be sure to instill into every 'CAT that even if the streak should come to an end this coming season the #1 objective is to make sure the Lewis and Clark quarterback does not get any better statistics than the subs did last year.   :)

It's great that after L&C getting no respect in the league for the last several years that the top dog's main objective now is to stop the L&C quarterback...  He's working hard every day !!
