Part of my point was that Lewis and Clark did not have a sufficient #2 quarterback for a big boy game - the defense is another matter.
Joe Smith has shown that the 'CATS have depth at quarterback.
[/quote  I agree, the #2 QB didn't have enough experience.  One game at a time.  We are pretty satisfied so far.  No pi$$in on anyone's neck.  It's nice to know you're thinkin about the Pios and not as a  joke anymore.

Just to clarify my earlier post about the passing game...I believe our qb has been doing a fine job passing the ball....I've just seen several well throw balls missed by receivers that would have either been touchdowns or big gains.....but I see dropped balls in the pros too so I know it happens at all levels.
You watched Monday night football last night, eh Blue?  Dropsies galore!  But that is been my obseration of the Cats---lots of dropped passes with two (at least) in the endzone last week.

I'm hoping your guys drop a bunch more this weekend, specially those ones in the end zone.

GO LUTES!

Here's hoping all is well with the CalCat whose commentary has been sorely missing.

Come to think of it I think it's spelled wrath...yeah that's it wrath.  Raft rath wrath whatever.  ONE GAME AT A TIME...  Good luck this weekend.  But to hear you tell it you never need any luck.. Your guys always win..the Pios are experiencing it for the first time and it feels pretty good to them I think.

From the Lute website:

"The Wildcats are currently on a nine-game winning streak against PLU, which is the longest winning streak in the series."

With the momentum that Linfield has built up so far, it seems unlikely that the Lutes would be much of a problem for the Wildcats.

PA cat

I have great respect for the PLU program and team. Always good to see them lose to the 'Cats. Wish them a fabulous 2-loss season!

Going out on a limb here:

Score tied after the 1st quarter. Linfield up 10 at the half. 'Cats hold and score twice more in the 2nd half. Good tough game against a class opponent: Linfield 31- PLU 7.
