Stats are up http://www.linfield.edu/sports/stats/fb/clu1119.htm  and it shows how big the penalties and turnovers were in this one.

Do we really have a chance to host??... or is that just wishful thinking?

"Where the SCIAC goes to DIE..."

Great game ... turnovers and penalties were the difference. 4 holding calls in the last 10 plays... and kicking has never bode well for us when the game is on the line.

Great effort by both teams, good luck next round, and see you next year.

Pat,
When do we find out where the Linfield/Wesley game will be played.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Looking at Wesley is hard to get a read on.  They apparently only played 6 D3 schools (is there no minimum?).  They played some really bad schools but also went 1-1 against playoff bound teams, 2-1 with todays win.

I've been around football for a mighty long time and I can't remember two Hail Mary plays in one game: Cal Lu did it by pass at the half, Linfield did it by prayer at the end.

Today's game was type of game most of us surmised, and it exceeded our expectations.

Good job Cats. Good job solutes.

Not good, using Cheap Flights leaving Portland to Baltimore Thanksgiving evening and returning Sunday night a flight on several airlines with one stop costs $825.
I can get the same out of Orange County for $385.

Do we know yet where the next game will be? I thought Wesley for sure but I heard that it's not written in stone and that's what the NCAA Official said after the game that it will be announced Sunday....so it's up in the air? Sounds like it......

If it's another home game do I have to listen to your shameless plugs again?
Perhaps just sky write if it's clear.

CAT BAT 22

All I know for sure.... that MUCHAS restaurant in McMinnville must be damn good food.

How else can you explain why our announcer was still plugging them  .... while the ball is being snapped... Laudenslayer is scrambling around trying to find an open receiver witih less than a minute to play.   ::)

Yes, the NCAA indicates that sites for round 2 will be announced on Sunday. UW-W was notified they were not guaranteed a home game in round 2, so I'm sure Wesley wasn't either.

Even if it's away you'll be listening to them....it's called advertising...along with $$$ support of the program..... :o
