I thought wesleydad was all about talking football?

I talked football, where's the keen observation and valuable insight from the Forrest Gump of DIII fans "My son made the team, and from that day on if I was going somewhere, I was running...all 3k miles" ???::)

So this is a 9 am west coast time game, that really sucks, cause if the Cats are typical 18-21 yr olds they usually dont get up till this time or later. But then again they are Linfield ;)

The experienced Linfield posters are much more subdued than the newly minted CLU posters on the SCIAC board. :)

I see that our East Coast brethren have been introduced to CatDome Nation. Bring your A game Wesley fans or get out of the kitchen if it's a little too warm for ya...

Aw, come on Teamski, we haven't even mentioned school ranking and graduation rate among other things not on the field. UWW waded through the academic slings and arrows and still kept on going.

I can't speak for the others D O.C, but I'm still in surgery trying to remove one of those armor piercing projectiles that the CSI's have traced back to this board (maybe yours? I don't know).  The good news is that the Doc says the prognosis is for a speedy recovery is excellent with another successful trip to Salem as part of the Rx!!  ;)

You should be thankful that Danny Jones, who got tough experience playing on the left coast, came to rescue your team and lead it to one of it's championships.

To all the wesley posters:
Don't take it personal, but I want the wolverines to lose this Saturday. I don't care by how much or the method of the loss. Whether it's because of Linfield's special teams play, defense, or the offense drops +50 points on them. I just want them to lose. I know and understand how hard the individual players for each team practice and train before and during the season. If they weren't outstanding young men and exceptional players they would not be playing college football. Being the father of a former Linfield player I know first hand the commitment and dedication parents have towards seeing their son succeed. It has nothing to do with disliking the university, its football program, the players, or the parents , and fans. Posters for wesley haven't said anything differently about the way they feel about their team and school that we Linfield posters feel about Linfield College. I am a "BIG HOMER" when it comes to D3 football. My heart belongs to the Wildcats.

Win or lose I am not going to change the way I feel about Linfield. You are saying the same thing about the Wolverines. All the talk on here should be given and received for what it is. Fans expressing their views about the team they love. I don't like personal attacks and try to avoid them whenever I can. I haven't always done that. I try real hard, but sometimes my passion causes me to overstep the boundaries. The posters on this board are old enough to be responsible for and diverse enough to express their own opinions. I'm not going to try and tell a poster, from either team, what they should write on these boards. There are some conversations I stay away from and then there are others I dive right into. That being said, I appreciate the board, the posters, and the D3 management that has made it possible for all of us to interact with each other. GO WILDCATS
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!
