FYI - The first sportscaster to appear in the Throwback Video is Steve Arena, a Linfield alum circa late 70's or so who was at KATU for many years. He shows up several times throughout the presentation.

Oh Boy!  I received word today that my official Linfield Wildcat helmet is heading to Iowa.  It will take a place of honor in the family room along with the Wartburg Knights helmet.

"THE STREAK?" Hmmm. Seems the students held an (unauthorized) event of that nature on campus back in the early 1970's. If I remember, this clothing-optional activity occurred in the quad area surrounded by Hewitt, Larsell, and Andersen Halls. While I wasn't there to observe it myself (but my wife was), one of my business majors told me the next day that it reminded him a lot of the Business Cycle...lots of upswings and downswings.
