OK for the NWC.

JD must be on all cylinders to send Ramay packing for CLU.

Well, Ramay transferred last year after losing the starting QB battle to Widing, but I get your point.  Dean looks comfortable and confident out there and just seems like a great fit for the Fowles/Sheppard offense.  The fact that he's got another year left is an added bonus.  If he plays as efficiently against Sewanee as he did against Pacific, the Bearcats should pick up another win.

Willamette is ranked #1 in NCAA Division III in passing offense [/color]with 407.0 passing yards per game.

Twilight zone indeed.  For those wondering how the "old Willamette" offense is doing, Menlo (ranked #24 overall) is currently #2 in the NAIA in rushing offense, at 291.8 yards per game.

I noticed that Widing hasn't played at all in either of the last two games.  Has he fallen that far down the depth chart, injured, gone or what?

ADvantage Catdome = Game 4 Preview: Linfield (4-0) at Pacific Lutheran University (1-1)
Hey 11--did you notice that you already tallied the game as a win for the Cats (aren't we only 3-0?)  :)

In that case, why not 14-0?  ;D

That would be a first for DIII football --- at least two 14-0 teams from the NWC.   ;)
(Nothing like the positive power of having the mojo of new uniforms, new . . . .)

Twilight Zone indeed . . .

The increasing mojo of the Cardinal,
infuses the Black and Gold garbed Bearcats

sweeping all who stand against the aforesaid Bearcats
exponentially growing with every passing week,
especially during the weekend before All Hallows Eve,
. . . and in the zone beyond

I didn't know that ugly new home uniforms are now all the rage in D3?  Who knew?

It's my understanding that he's left the team.  Don't know the circumstances, so I won't speculate.  I do know that he'd dropped to third on the depth chart (behind fellow senior Jake Jones) before he left.

My feelings about Willamette's black unis are in line with 11's feelings about Linfield's all-purples.  It felt particularly bizarre against Pacific; you know, a school whose colors actually include black.  But hey, I'm just a reporter/alum, and the guys on the team love them. :-\

They ARE ugly uniforms, but I really, really like the New Offensive Coordinator & starting QB for Willamette.   The helmets are cool.

This. I like the switch to the gold helmets with the paw logo. But the black jerseys...meh. I'd stick with cardinal tops at home and the all white look for away games

Agree...the new lid is fine but that jersey looks extremely out of place.

B-Press,

Never liked the 'Cats all-purple look and never will...thankfully I LOVE our traditional Purple Top/White Pants look.
