Ah, the silly season begins.  Thanks to Blue for kicking it off.

Glad to help!  ;)

Any suggestions from Lute fans (or anyone else, really) on good places to eat near Sparks?

There's a Taco Bell about 2 blocks from the stadium. And I think I saw a Weenie Wagon near a gas station too.  :o

Ha ha--that's a loaded question!  First, Linfield has to take care of business against Willamette either way, but I know you're assuming Linfield and CLU run the table in addition to PLU beating Willamette.  In the past I'd have said book the ticket to Oregon but after last year's bracket (I know CLU still had to go to McMinnville) I don't know that we can predict much....In your scenario (PLU beats Willamette) you could end up with PLU winning all their games except for the Linfield/CLU games which could give them a shot (beit slim since their on the West Coast) shot at a pool C spot.  If that were to happen then, potentially, it could monkey up the whole CLU to Linfield tradition........All that being said, there is way too much football to be played before any of us make playoff plans!

Friday morning and I'm looking forward to my favorite player, KeAlii Poomaihealani, getting the L&C qb at least 3 times.

The South Hill Mall area of Puyallup has a boatload of choices.  A Ram Brewery and several 'chain' places like Applebee's.

Linfield currently holds the #1 strength of schedule in Division III.  Whitworth in at #3, PLU at #11, and Willamette at #27.  Great work NWC.

Linfield is at 4-0 because the Menlo (who is 4-2) game doesn't count towards the numbers (NAIA).
