Does anyone think that PLU now has a better shot at making the playoffs now that 3 other potential Pool C teams lost this weekend? That may lay the groundwork for implementing Pat's alternative West Bracket?

They definitely have a better chance and I think they should be the top Pool C team in the West Region. And if they get in, yeah, I'd expect them to play at Linfield.

It would be nice to play someone different in the first round but I'll be happy just to see us get in.  Not holding my breath though after being left out two years ago.  On the plus side if we do get in we have a history of winning the first round against conference opponent since we joined d3, we're 2-0 

I actually think you guys have a good shot at making it. Although I think u should play CLU in the first round.

PLU should be in, but no one east of the Rockies has seen how good you are.    The current Top 25 poll is a bad omen: UW- Platteville, Bethel and Concordia-Moorhead all ranked above PLU.   I don't agree with that at all, but the votes are heavy in the midwest and north.   

I hope you get in: 1.  You deserve it with your record and 2.   I love the PLU-Linfield rivalry.    But, beat Menlo first.

With MHB ranked higher than Linfield, do not be surprised if we are in line to meet either MHB or Mt. Union in the semis and not in McMinnville.   Assuming of course that we can get through the mighty tough West region.

George, you should listen to the Around the Nation podcast and learn how things work, because you are way off here. In fact, if you even looked at the front page of D3football.com you'd see a darn good omen for PLU ... if you looked.
