Would love to see Louisiana College make the trip. (I know that the NCAA doesn't like to send teams all the way across the continent for early round playoff games, right? ;) )

PLU-Linfield would be a retro-traditional matchup. CLU-Linfield would be like extending the regular season. Anyhow, as long as they are all at home!

Linfield bracket

No. 6 Pacific Lutheran at No. 1 Linfield
No. 5 Adrian at No. 4 Elmhurst

No. 8 Concordia-Moorhead at No. 2 UW-Oshkosh
No. 7 Louisiana College at No. 3 Cal Lutheran

....rather interesting match-ups here.....I agree with DO C though Louisiana College vs Linfield in 1st round would be a little more interesting for fans. Will be fun to see how the committee sees it.

But it would be really confusing since both teams are the Wildcats.... :)  I'm o.k. playing anybody at home in as many rounds as we can get---but I also don't mind seeing some teams we've already beat early on.....I also wouldn't complain if we got some easy first round team like certain other #1 seeds often seem to get :)

If miracles of miracles does happen and the NCAA sends Louisiana College to Linfield, I'll bring gator gumbo to the famous LC tailgate party. :) Having lived in McMinnville for seven years (1999 to 2006), it would be great to see some old friends and make a post season trip to the Cat Dome.

Just finished my conference call with the NCAA Selection Committee. I made myself clear.
Going to the gym (IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!) and you all will know the results when I get back.

BTW... they did not ask me how to spell Willamette.

Totally predictable bracket.....the NCAA practices neither fairness nor diversity.  The NCAA acts like a typical BIG Business trying to save a stinking buck at the expense of the players and the fans......Just my personal opinion.
Totally predicable but not as big a screw job as we've seen in the past.....and at least we wouldn't have to face Mt Union or MHB until the Stagg Bowl (assuming one of them and us make it).  We've got a very competivite but also pretty favorable bracket in my opinion.  It would be nice to see new teams but if we get far enough we will..... ;)

Question for all, including Pat. Concerning the left side of the bracket, if Linfield advances, would the Cats have home field until they reach Salem?

George Thompson

No complaints on this year's brackets.   For Linfield, very good.   We will not have to play Mt. Union, MHB or Wesley at their homes.    Of course, every game ahead is stiff.    No easy games ahead, even at home.

Happy for d-train, Wyd and speedybigboy, but, fellas, you drew the wrong team.

i think till the semis then there is some issue regarding facilities for the semis that may or may not affect home field...needs to be suitable for a possible espn broadcast (I think)

Would love to see you make back to the "Old Homestead". Good luck and best wishes. Gave you plus K to make it so. 8-)

Congrats to PLU and Linfield!

I'm just asking. Shouldn't it be #8 at #1, #7 at #2, #6 at #3....and so on? ???
