On last thing...What happened to Tyler Steele? He suffer an injury I assume in week three?

Tyler suffered a knee injury and was lost for the season after the CLU game.  Both Tyler and Josh Hill are putting in for a medical red-shirt for the 2013 season.

Wow...what could have been.
When is your blog story going to be up Warhawk?

Almost done. I'll post the story later today or tomorrow.

(The link is also in my signature below, just incase)

I have to admit, it hurts to do these write-ups knowing it's not Whitewater that these teams are playing...but rather Oshkosh  :'(

I try to remain professional and treat all WIAC teams a equals.

Yeah, I'm not sure how long GHC would last in Vegas as an odds maker. Too many pulls from the blue jug.  ;)

What Oshkosh should expect from Linfield

Well done. You clearly did your homework...which always pleases an old professor. :)

We probably shouldn't have called those all-time rankings, as they go back to 2002, which is a long time but clearly not all time (1973)

Considering that most of my readers are WIAC fans, they aleady now what UWO brings to the table. However, if Linfield want to learn more about UWO, I would recommend checking here:

B/c I'm a nice guy I'll summarize UWO for you, and I'll try my best to put fear in the minds of Linfield fans so they can't sleep at night.  :)

Their offense is very unique. They run the option read out of every formation possible. Which drives defenses bananas!! When you think of an option team, you think of a run dominated offense that rarelly passes. UWO however manages to remain balanced where the pass is just as dangerous as the run. Their QB, Wara, (as you might know) is a Gagliardi finalist, and is probably the most athletic QB in D3. If it wasn't for his two brothers playing for the Titans in years past, he probably would have walked on at Madison (U of Wisconsin, D1). He has all the tools a QB needs. He runs very well with the ball, and makes all the throws you can ask. In fact, he only threw one or two interceptions on the regular season...which is just amazing. Needless to say he was the WIAC player of the Year. His favorite target is Voss, who has size and speed at WR. Their running back, Myra, is really good as well. He finished in the top three in rushing in the WIAC.

Their defense is solid, but probably not quite as good as Linfields. Oshkosh is great against the run, giving up minimal yards on the ground. At times they can be passive through the air, but when they focus they can play shutdown defense. Like I said in my blog, they lack a little consistency.

Knowing how hard that was, I thank you.    8-)

Thank you WC11.........

02, Thank you for the summary..... Until a team/coach can come up with a formation/offense so different/crazy from the "fly" that Coach Speckman from Willamette U and now Menlo used, I think the Cats will be fine. At least they are used to seeing something different ( play your man). It's a deceptive type of ball control. Now....A player like Wara, brings a lot to the table and brings things the Cats may, or may not have seen this year as does Voss. That said, I like our Cats at home in the Catdome's chances still the same. Our Coach's have done a great job of pregame preparing adjusting to the game as it play's out all year.   .....44 - 41,
Cat's take this one with a Josh Kay FG.......Cats by 3 +.
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!
