...recently went to the 5-6A All-star Game at Hillsboro Stadium to watch some of the new Wildcat Recruits....several monsters out there and was impressed by the bunch that are coming to Linfield. Very impressed with several of the lineman and skill players/athletes.

Good group there and would have been better if Spencer Payne would have been able to play as well.  Another great incoming 'Cats for Linfield.

Is Spencer still not 100% healthy from last season or did some other reason keep him from being able to play in the All-Star game? Don't need to know what other reason is...really just inquiring whether him not playing is related to injury.

Other physical reason.  He'll be 100% when camp hits. Very nice kid.

Can't wait to see these young 'Cats in uniform and playing at Maxwell Field.  :)
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Any posters headed to Cleveland please let me know here or PM

Any posters going to Abilene - take your ear plugs.

Will be in both Cleveland and Abilene on Wildcat Saturdays. Noise in Abilene won't be a problem as I'm nearly deaf anyway...but it does making long-distance hichhiking difficult. ;D

I see DIII.com has the Wildcats #3 and Cal Lutheran #7 and PLU #24. It will be an exciting year with a really tough schedule.

That's not true. We don't have a preseason ranking out yet.

My apology.  I misread that and I stand corrected.

Lewis & Clark have an interesting matchup with Utica. Any thoughts on how this matchup may go?

That should be an interesting one....I noticed that they are both called the "Pioneers". Utica seems to play a good schedule and be fairly decent. I like the coaches name: Blaise Faggiano ...... I'd say it may be a close match-up.

As I was looking at the schedules, I noticed Pacific is playing Chicago 10/26 at Pacific....that should be another interesting one.....also Willamette plays on Friday night 9/6 vs Hardin-Simmons....nice preview.

I was thinking the same thing, it appears the NWC is doing a good job scheduling outside the west region. Also, I am looking forward to the Linfield vs. Case game. Should be interesting, I don't know if it is going to be pretty, however a good game to watch.

Case Western interesting? Historic, maybe.

If I get to see the game what will be "interesting" is a side trip to Alliance to look at the trophy case.
