Pat...I'm trying hard to find a path to the "soggy" interview you did with Scott Westering after the game at Eau Claire.  I can't seem to get there from here.  Lot's of game pics but no "one on one" interview that I know you had with the PLU skipper.  Please help with the right path.
Thank You! ???

All you have to do with Scott W is just say: "Scott?" and he'll take it from there.  Dude can talk your ear off.

A favor to ask you fine Northwestern types (congrats to the Linfield giants, by the way):

Oz daughter #1 loves fashion and would love to become a designer one day. She's entered a design in a 'Witchery' competition (Australian fashion store). The five entries with the most votes become finalists. To increase her chance of winning I'd really appreciate it if you and your friends/family would vote for her. It's really easy. Just click on the link below' and vote. Thanks!

Maybe familiarity in dealing with Oregon weather had something to do with the Bearcats' win over ETBU.  In a video interview, the Tigers' Coach Eargle says that the Bearcats handled the rain delay, thunderstorm and lightning better than his team did.

Willamette Crashes Rain Party at Ornelas Stadium in Eargle Debut

Both teams used hurry-up offenses, for a total of 185 plays--either passing or running--during a 60-minute game.  (WU 29 passes and 62 runs; ETBU 29 passes and 65 runs) Discounting special team plays, that's 185 plays or an average of one offensive play in less than every 19 seconds.

Willamette and Linfield common opponent comparison.

Willamette jumped out on Hardin-Simmons in the first quarter, scoring 29 un-answered points. After that the game was pretty much even. With HS garnering 33 1st downs to Willamette's 26.....HS total offense 534 to Willamette 506 and HS rushing yards of 344 to Willamette's 164. Willamette mounted an air attack that bit HS in the rear with a 342 to HS 190 advantage. Willamette had 3 interceptions in the game.

When Linfield played HS....they had a 30-17 advantage in first downs. Linfield amassed 651 total yards with 369 in the air and 282 on the ground compared to HS  total of 295 yards (235 in the air, 60 on the ground).

Blue,

Are you looking past us already?  While any such comparison seems a little silly...PLU and Linfield both played CLU.  I'd think that's a little more relevent for this week.

It's okay.  That comparison via CLU won't be pretty for the Lutes anyway.  You should go ahead and worry about the Bearcats/Boxers and just phone this one in*.  We aren't the challenge you're looking for...[/Jedi mind trick voice]

....sorry d-train.....I had just read river's message and went off on a tangent. I guess I was a little bored....LOL!  ;D

Everybody around here is excited as heck for the game this Saturday against PLU, believe me! It's going to be a barn burner! Maybe if I get bored I can do the CLU comparison...... :o

.....if anything we may have been looking a little past Case Western  ;)
