Sam Horn missed Josh Hill who apparently transferred from Air Force, plus one other from PSU, TE Meng from OSU, and another from Montana.  Even Notre Dame HS seems to be a football power in its league.  Nothing wrong with intense recruiting if you want to be a football power.
We also have a couple players from Wasilla, Alaska that might know Sarah Palin.
The Warriors weren't able to pull out a win against the Moose:
Wasilla Warriors lose close game 26-20 to the Palmer Moose in Potato Bowl

Nice looking group.
Warriors 2012-13

Any town that Sarah Palin lives/lived in has to have some controversy.

Yeah, my alma mater, the Mighty Moose, trampled the Warriors friday night (bout gave me a heartattack listening to the game).  Oddly enough both Head Coaches played for Linfield.

The two brothers on the Linfield roster played for another "valley" team, Colony High, which until recently was also coached by a former Linfield player.

Alas, this is one category in which we cannot claim superiority over PLU. I believe I noticed at least two Wasilla, Alaska players on the PLU roster for last Saturday's game.  ;D

If it's any consolation to you,  your two players played at Colony, while one Lute played at Colony and one at Wasilla.  So your guys are marginally from "Wasilla".

The NWC now has three teams in the D3Football.com top 25--Linfield, PLU, and Willamette.  The Bearcats managed to sneak in to #25 without playing a game, while the Lutes dropped from 11 to 15 by playing one.  Maybe the Bearcats should go to a 7 or 8 game schedule, instead of the previous 10 or current 9 games.   ;)
With Pacific also receiving votes  ;D

I got a chance to meet Coach Darryl Agpalsa last night. He's a very impressive guy and I am hearing he is having a great impact at UW-W. He seems like a great guy and a great coach.

Dee,
Sorry I missed you at the game.  Saw Sue Westering a couple of times.  We both coach at the same HS up here.  You guys have a good club.  One of your backers had a huge game, he is from Gig Harbor( Listed from Fox Island)  Dalton Darmady.  That kid can play.
Best of luck down the road.

bleedpurple: Yes, Coach Darryl is a great guy. I had the pleasure and fun of meeting him when our son played for Linfield. One time at Menlo the golf cart he was riding in took off by itself while coach was talking to my son and I. I ran after it and jumped into the drivers seat and drove it back to where they were standing. It was hilarious! :D

I gave you plus k  ;)
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Going to try to stay up and watch the Whitworth vs. Willamette game. Is this game worth staying up for? I really want to see Willamette, but is kind of worried it won't be as competive, since Whitworth has taken some tough losses. Any thoughts?

It shoudn't be much of a match.  I think Willamette has a good offense and will overwhelm the Rats defense (if they show up at all).  On the flip side, Willamette seems like they can be run on so maybe the Rats will gain some yards on the ground with their 2 running plays (left and right).  It's Friday night so you might well live it up and stay up late hunched in front of the computer watching! :)

Great story! The next time I see him, I will tell him the word is out and he's not allowed near any golf carts while on campus!

Thanks for the +K and back at ya.
