By the way, they have been in this spot for the last three years.

Come on, Pat. That's a really weak response.

That's a really weak edit of my response. How about the rest of it? It might behoove you to read the story about the redesign if you have questions about it, and we provided a story.

Previously when one accessed the Home page there was a large space clearly labelled "Message Boards." The remodel has clearly reduced the visibility of that link. Since I expect that the message boards are probably the most used/read section of the website, it seems reasonable they'd get a little "floor space" on the home page.

The team pages are the most read section of the site, followed by the scores.

I'm pleased if PC is pleased. I want this no farther.

I read the whole article and couldn't even find what I wanted. I'll learn.

Hmm ... what are the heading buttons and what do you expect them to do? (And if it's sometimes, which ones don't work for you?)

I'm using Safari.....and when I click or try to click on the headings like "score" "top 25" etc nothing happens. then I'll try another one and it may or may not work....I just have to keep going back and forth until something happens.

Error exists between the chair and the keyboard.

Get a look at the "New Look' yet?  I will find Message Boards without anyone's help, thank-you very much.

Apparently, a major feature of the D3football.com "New Look" is the disappearance (or camouflaged location) of the "Message Boards" link. Aw, no problem...nobody ever uses those Message Boards anyway.
For you "old folks" who don't do well with change---the message boards are under the "Network" menu:  "d3boards".

You are welcome.   ;)

Are the "old folks" the same as the "losers" from a few weeks ago?

I've bookmarked the Western Region Football message board and the d3 home page so I don't think I care about the changes.  My initial thought was, aw crap, they changed the home page.

I must be like a typical user.  I go to the message board alot, but almost never from the main page.  I also click on Scores, Top 25, and the Team pages mostly.  I often want to jump to a team page directly from the message board, and usually open a new window.

Pat, is it practical to have at the top of each message page a link to the team pages in that conference.  I realize right now one can jump to the homepage and head on through the that way, but it would be nice to be able to jump to the individual teams.  Just a thought.  Keep up the great work on this website.

The "old folks" are definitely the "losers" but the "losers" are not necessarily the "old folks" ;)

And still the West was overloaded.

D.O.C., you're smarter than I am.   It took me 3 log-ons and 20+ minutes to find the message boards.    Why a webmaster would hide the most popular part of this whole website is beyond me.

Spot on right!   Hiding the link from the front page makes no sense at all!

Looks like I'm having a similar problem on my phone this morning.  Of those menu heading word links that flank the D3 logo, only a couple actually work..

....same thing happened to me again this morning....I click on the header (such as Network or Teams) and nothing happens. Then I try another and it may or may not bring down the menu or traverse to the correct page. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Just have to keep trying until it works.
