I see that now.  My live stats were not updating properly and I couldn't get the video.  That makes way more sense.  See you on the In game board.

Cats continue to keep the penalties and turnovers low....big key to success in the playoffs....
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Old busher here checking in for an update and had to comment on remembering Custer, Owens and Bubba talking about the 'Catdome as early as '77.  As in; we may not have a training table, weight room, showers, wear pink socks, jocks and have plain uniforms but at least we have the 'Catdome. Might go back to '74 ask Rex he may know,

Gright....I was trying to remember....what was the intramural game they used to play out by the old baseball field in the mud with that big huge ball that they'ed try to push downfield? One team against the other? Do you remember something light that or am I just imagining it? I was just a kid when I watched it. Must have been back in the 60s?

Anybody else remember something like that? I think the ball was pretty heavy and about 5 feet in diameter.

Oh by the way--Cats clinch the NWC title I think......Not sure what the NWC rules are but I would assume even if we lost next week we'd have the head to head tie breaker against PLU, yes?

Medicine ball - played it in the mud myself. Fun times! Of course, adult bevys afterwards!

Yeah, backed your way into that one.  ::)
Should be a good game next week anyways.  Well, for three quarters, maybe.

:)  I just know some conference do some really weird tie breakers and as Wildcat 11 mentioned--the info isn't readily available....but I assumed in a 2 way tie---head to head rules.

On another note--I think PLU should feel good about their chances at this point.  And they can't do anything to screw them up with all of their regular season games finished.  They have 2 weeks to practice for Linfield.....or at least this week.  THen the committee will throw them a curve ball and give them a home game against St. Scholastica and all that prep will be wasted! :)
Go Cats!

Actually, the way things are shaping it up.....I could almost see PLU getting a home playoff game which sould set up a second round trip to Linfield.  They would have two flights in the first round but would avoid one in the second round (if PLU and Linfield won)....so......nahhh...
