I was thinking that a white stripe on the purple pants would look good.. the all purple is a bit much..

Would someone let me know if Mike Maierhoffer and Franklin Lime are going to be back playing this season?  Also is John Shaffer done for the season... pretty much a lost season for him which sucks..

Time to go make Pacific Catdome North!
I saw Mike M. dressed and walking the walk.  My bad though, not paying enough attention to see how much time he spent on the field.  He wasn't sporting any "Ortho" gear on the ankle so hopefully he's either ready  now or pending ready.   Don't know about the other guys.

:-X :-X
Remember the T.V. serial Stalag 17 that starred Bob Crane. Whenever the German guard Shultze saw or heard anything he'd say "I know nothing"

George...you are really going out on a limb there.....let's take one game at a time LOL!!!!!   :-*   ;D

I have fallen off limbs before.   There are a 1,000 ways that LC or any team could lose a game.   But, this team has more to offer than some really great LC teams before.   If I had a vote, they would be #1 this year.     LC, MU and MHB seem to be in their own stratosphere this year.
Just my opinion.

Swede, that was Hogans Heroes, from the late 60's.  Stalag 17 was a movie from the 50's starring William Holden. But your point still stands.... I know nothink!

Need your advice please, the Linfield room along with other D3 schools is almost done renovating but am undecided about bed. Should I go with
  A. Double bed(mattress and box spring)
  B. The double air mattress bed that is on a folding frame to keep in closet
  C. A futon

The room is 10x10 at best.

People from out of town may be using ;)

Speedy,
You're right on my friend :). I loved that show.

My brother said he didn't have a box that the helmet would fit in but my son-in-law said he could ship it from work.
I'll let you know when it's on the way. :)

You need to install a home-made Murphy Bed.  2x6 finished wood box with a long hinge ("piano hinge") against the wall. Plywood bottom.  When its folded up against the wall you could have some pennants or other memorabilia displayed (they would be under the bed when its laid down for use).  Use a barrel bolt or two to fasten it in the up position.

I agree we have a very powerful team this year. I think the following teams are also very skilled on both sides of the ball:

MUC
UMHB
Bethel
NCC
UWW
(I'll see how John Carroll looks this weekend against MUC)

I think all the teams above including Linfield feel like they have a shot at the title.

That'd be my list as well. I think JCU will look like they should be on the list come Saturday night. Not that I'm predicting a win, but I think they go toe to toe with Mount. Their D looks built for a December run.

Any of these 7 teams, with the right mix of path/seeding, health, breaks and team/coaches doing what they need to win close games would seem to have a chance. And because there are 7 teams of this stature, no way even everyone on this list makes the semi's or even the region finals (E.g. potential NCC v. OAC runner up in rd 2, etc.). But that won't disprove how good these teams were this year.

Fun to have a postseason that appears to be so 'wide-open' relatively speaking.

D O.C.

All well and good to name if/only for the top six teams in the division. Who's got the speed
the depth?
No mention of coaching staffs?
