With 7 teams in the Top 10 in West Region Rankings, the NCAA should just put 8 teams from the MIAC and WIAC into the playoffs.    1st and 2nd in each conference would be in the West and North regions.   3rd and 4th place teams would go East and South.   The regional finals might have 5-8 teams from those two conferences.    And the semi's could have four!   After all, they are by far the toughest conferences.

George....I'm assuming either UWP or UWO will drop out this week along with SJU. Although I'm hoping for a SJU victory which would probably give Linfield the #1 seed in the West. (Assuming UWW moves East or North)

No.   Being a little factious that the MIAC an WIAC can do no wrong in the minds of those east of the Rockies.   I would love to see the NWC enter a two year agreement with either of them for a non-conference match up of the  prior year's 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4, etc.   Would the NWC win half of those games?

GO CATS! GO!

Here is a link to the George Fox football program website:

http://www.georgefox.edu/dev/stoffer-stadium/football/

It does have a good pic of the stadium under construction in the "football updates, October 28" article. I could be wrong, but the stadium looks a "modern" version of the Catdome  ??? .

Of course, it is missing the aura and spirit of the Catdome that could never be replicated...anywhere or anytime.

The site also has a nice introduction of the three former Cat players and coaches.

Memorial Stadium is almost 100 years older than Fox's new grandstand and looks 100x more comfortable than this tin can.
[/quoteI agree #11!!  Now what should we call the stadium? ;D The Picture does more justice than it deserves :(
What could we name the stadium? ;D
Yes it does kinda look like a modern version of the catdome but smaller. They would have liked to build on the original site but the prep work before they even started on the stadium would be close to 1 million. When it is all done I believe it'll look pretty sharp.
One thing I noticed is the parking is way to small. A small lot but a short walk over the foot bridge and you're there. The other parking lot is farther away and still on the small size. There is room for bleachers on the visitor side of the field so the Wheeler complex parking lot would be perfect for the visiting team. Perhaps the A.D. could reserve both lots for us when we play 'em ;D
Wildcats do a great job preparing kids for the future. I'm proud of the job the teaching and coaching staff do in preparing the kids once they graduate.
Feel all worn out today..need to hit the bed by 10 tonight. See ya guys at the game :)

It's Game Day!  I smell something?     Smells like?   Like?    P.U. :o   Wish I could be at the game today. And I know it's only 20 miles away, but I need to be open  incase a customer decides to drop by and say Hi!

So I go to check out the Pacific site to get ready for the game and what do I find?
Live feed produced by Linfield, cool,,,,,,,but wait,...$12? :o  Say it's not so. :'(   Oh well guess it's the D & D show on KLYC
1260 AM  for me today. ;D Enjoy the game everyone.

Go Cats!
Leave no doubt!!
One game at a time!!!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Congratulations Wildcats for a perfect 9-0 season.  Great comeback...didn't panic...played their game....took over the game....Time to move on to the playoffs......
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

criswyly

I suspect that the selection committee might shake it up this year and do something "out of the box."

When you say "I suspect" you really mean "I hope".  Right?
