So how difficult is it to complete 58 consecutive winning seasons?  Just look at the top 25 top DIII teams right now. So before you peek how many teams do you guess have 14 consecutive winning seasons besides Linfield?
Answer: two, Mt Union and Wheaton.

With all the seniors we are graduating this year let's hope with all their depth that next years team can fill their shoes.   Go Wildcats.
While they are just outside the top 25 this year & the # is no where near 58, Wartburg  is @ a respectable 21.
Very respectable indeed. Now we know how rare that is.  You have to go through 21 on your way to any higher number.  Congratulations Wartburg.  It may not be long before we see Wartburg back in the top 25 where they have been many times.  With Wartburg up 21 to 0 vs. Illinois Wesleyan today at halftime that's a good way to work your way back to the top 25 for next year.

Be prepared Scouts!
You go to the d3football.com scoreboard page and it's a whole new look.
Fairly easy to find audio/video links at the bottom of each game stats.

BUT!  I went to the Franklin/Washington U. video link and an official
CONNECTION FAILED. OVER LICENSE CONNECTION LIMIT

Until I figure out or am told what that means I do not think I'll take over MonroviaCat's job of multi game reporting since I won't want to be disconnected from the LINFIELD game.
If there indeed exists a license limit then the late game (S) will be flooded with people looking in from the east.

Yeah. Franklin's video could only handle a certain number of people simultaneously. I got in early, watched, then got booted midway through the first half because of a connection problem here at the house. Couldn't get back in until halftime, when people foolishly dropped off, perhaps never to get back in.

That look on the scoreboard page, though, is exactly what you'd get the rest of the year (and last year, too) on any of our conference-level scoreboards. It's not new.

I liked the involved look of the page. The links with the scores on the right are DO.C. friendly.

Answer: two, Mt Union and Wheaton. It's amazing how many teams got eliminated by one 5 and 5 season, all the more reason for Linfield to play a 9 game schedule.

Mary Hardin-Baylor has won eight or more games in each of the last 14 seasons. So you can add them to your list, too. Make it three others.

The final PLU/CAT game score was true to the trend I mentioned in a previous post. The CATS double up on the Lutes, 42-21.

I watched most of the Hampden-Sydney game and I think the Big Cats aka Tigers are in for a Big surprise come next Saturday (more like a rude awakening). It very well could be a long flight out to the west coast, a long day at the CatDome and long flight back to Virginia.

Go CATS!

I thought I heard the "Homefield" matchups wouldn't be announced until Sunday.
Am I hallucinating or are those updated brackets on D3 fairly specific in who plays where?

...bit I see what you mean. The updated d3football.com brackets have a game location.

Andy Jamison - Walla Walla Wildcat

Great win today for the Cats! I was particularly impressed with our aggressive play calling one we were up 28-0. I had previously posted that our play calling seemed to get conservative in tight games especially once we had a lead.  We kept firing the ball which has to keep the defense honest. Good o finally be over .500 vs PLU in the playoffs!

Great day in the 'Catdome!  All three phases brought it today.

Now for some tigers--- stop #13 = beat Hampton Sydney.
Go Cats!
