Is the commissioner going to say otherwise? However, if you have read our twice-annual conference rankings over the past few years, you should already know we agree the Empire 8 is a very tough conference and this move will add to it.

...just went and checked out the Empire 8.....and actually I do agree that they are a very good conference....probably would be very competitive with NWC, IIAC and SCIAC.

Congrats to former Linfield Wildcat & Sr. VP of the Seattle Seahawks General Counsel, Lance Lopes, on the Super Bowl title!

...was just kind of thinking about the defense for Linfield next year. Specifically about the defensive tackles. I'm wondering if we might have anyone that would be similar to Joe Dominey or Ricky Gaspar?

RICKY GASPAR (2000-03) – Tri-City Diesel, NIFL, 2003-04; Central Valley Coyotes, Arena 2, 2005, Arizona Rattlers, Arena League, 2006.

Just a heads up.....bookmark this place.
On the same street as Chapman U.
It's about 1 1/2 miles away.

There are 30,000 rooms near Chapman with Disneyland being so close but this is a DO.C. secret.

With reference to the LC/CU football matchup, how many Linfield fans do you think would attend the game?

Nothing overwhelming but Linfield always seems to have good support for our games in SoCal.

Cat fans you will get to see what great planning CU has done....The lights are in front of the stands so some sight lines are blocked, same thing at CLUs brand new stadium. What idiots review the plans. BTW there will no signs telling you where to go but there is a temporary ticket/booth on the visitor side very close to where the CU tailgaters are station. Be careful to read the no parking signs if you do not park under the stadium since the wanna be traffic cops love to justify their existence.

Lastly if you are flying down, check out Long Beach Airport, Jet Blue flies there out of Portland, only a half hour away from your hotel and many times a cheaper flight then to John Wayne say on Alaska. If you can avoid LAX I would, even if the ticket is cheaper, life is too short and I don't do SW Airlines. If and when you go to the UR game, try Ontario, but flights are limited. I would still fly into Long Beach over LAX. Go see the Beach before our game because it will be 90 at game time and pretty hot until the sun goes down.

I'll be down in your neck of the woods, taking in a Chapman basketball game at Whittier. Any other DOC secrets I should check out?
