I voted UMU because if  they had long odds in Vegas for DIII who the Stagg Bowl participants will be...
Mary going for the field goal still sours me.  ::)

Don't let that field goal thing bother you.
UWW ran a completely vanilla offense up to that point of the game. Had the Dub fallen behind, take comfort in knowing the O would have opened up as you saw vs your Cats and Mt Union.

I've no doubt MHB was a very tough team especially defensively, however I continue to struggle rating them highly due to their offense. When they play better defenses, their offensive issues are exposed.
Linfield is hard to slot because of the injuries. NCC IMO was more impacted by the snow than Mt was. They are hard to slot as well. Tough call on 2-5.

A vanilla offense for the first 57 minutes of the game?

I'm not sure if you had the opportunity to watch UWW vs Linfield, MHB and Mt Union.  I'm not suggesting UWW "toyed" with MHB, I'm simply saying they ran an extremely vanilla offense.  No doubt a great part of their decision to do that was MHB's defensive capabilities.  Nevertheless, MHB saw very little of what UWW ran vs their other opponents.

Predicted Order of Finish in the NWC -

1) Linfield
2) PLU
3) Pacific

George Fox pulls two upsets in their first season by beating Lewis & Clark and UPS.

You're telling us you can't get Scott Westering to talk?  Just put a camera in front of him and ask him how things are going...   ;D

Longtime Kickoff readers know we do not depend on sports information staff to send stuff. We hire writers to call all 244 coaches and pick their brains for material. Some do a better job than others.

I'm beginning to get excited. I realize that is because the first two games are in my backyard.
M Cat, you going to be able to make them. CalCat?
