Arrogance is what the SCIAC does by patting themselves on the back all the time for scheduling tough teams and getting their teeth kicked in.

Even that is an improvement over when the SCIAC's champion was scheduling Colorado College and Lewis & Clark in non-conference.

OldCatProf, delightful Dave Hansen and two beautiful ladies have been partying all week in LA, Dana Point, Catalina Island,  San Juan Capistrano,  etc. Now, however, it's time to get serious again about Wildcat football. Will head towards Redlands in few minutes to get this party started.

GO CATS!!!!

Anyone know how the Redlands video stream is? Is it worth staying in to watch the Cats?

I've watched a few and they have been decent but with all the issues I've been seeing with STretch Internet this year.....well........you may be disappointed.

So far today it seems Stretch has been doing alright. I watched a significant stretch of the St. John's game without issue.

Perhaps you have some insight as to why some portal just don't work at all (LaVerne and Whittier are two that I've had issues with today)---School has them listed and linked so I'm assuming they are supposed to have feeds....

I have had problems with the CLU and ULV games.

I have problems watching the CLU games but that's mostly because of their D. Don't worry, I'll be here all week. Tip your waitress.

There are four major things that have to work in order for any internet broadcast to be viewable for the end user.

1. The laptop and camera and audio board (if used) need to play well together. And sometimes those are finicky.
2. The connection from the press box to the host needs to be fast enough and consistent.
3. The host has to be capable of taking in that stream and redistributing it to everyone who wants it.
4. The person watching the broadcast needs to have a strong connection to the internet that isn't being eaten up by other software (iTunes, Skype, other users on your network) and the laptop has to be running smoothly. (I always reboot my laptop before I settle in for a day of watching games.)

If one of those four doesn't work as expected then you're not going to get a good broadcast. The issue could be at CLU or ULV instead of Stretch.

Dang the 'Cats have a chance to be a very very good team.

Hoff is very impressive.   He has a sick spin move that is faster than any I've seen in a long time.

The D got robbed on that sack in the endzone, there was no pass taking place, it was a strip and score all the way.
