Good to meet GHC and Gren before the game.  Was fun to watch some quality ball live in person, to bad it was mostly the guys in white

Sorry i missed you speedy. GHC said you were a good guy and enjoyed the visit with you.

Bad audio feed for me, but otherwise a pretty impressive "showing" for our Cats when I could hear.  I was so desperate I listened to the Lute broadcast which was just so stressful for me to listen too.  My computer finally recovered and heard most of the second half.  As Wildcat11 says, this could be a very special Linfield team.  "Sam is the Man" Riddle.  Great to see our running game roll.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!

Linfield really played a stellar game in my opinion (and to think we are still improving and refining!). We ran the ball well (I'm liking all the running backs I saw play (4), they all are a little different, but all very good) and our passing attack was fantastic. When Riddle takes the field you know something good is going to happen. (he's a gamer too...when the guy intercepted his pass, which was nullified by a PI penalty, Riddle went crazy, ran down the field and just destroyed/tackled the DB) He's a playmaker and teams up well with the receivers and running backs. I thought the O-Line looked great and I like our size up front. Special teams did great! The defense played very well and forced a lot of bad decisions. I like how we play quite a few on defense and it seems like when we alternate in guys the level of pressure stays high. PLU is a hard offense to contain. They do a lot of miss direction and deception. Overall a very exciting and entertaining game to watch! Fantastic job 'Cats!!!

I'm going to savor this victory for a couple days and then get ready for the big clash, our home opener against George Fox. I'm not going to mince words.... I hope the JV team is playing in the second half.  :-X

Trivia

I played NAIA ball in the northwest. Coach told me I was not QB material and said I had to change positions.
I walked on at a D1 school.  I threw for for 385 yds 3 TD's on 16-28 passing and led my team to a huge upset.

Who am I? What NAIA and Div1 school?  Who was the upset against?

First correct guess gets 2 pts.

I guess Wesley has beaten UMHB a couple times and Linfield once at home when they should have traveled to the CatDome in the playoffs, so they are Elite.

John Barnes transferred to UCLA from NAIA Western Oregon and engineered upset of USC in the early 90's.

Thought you guys brought the "CatDome to the East Coast?" Either way, greatest football comeback win I have ever seen.
