Would love to have the first two playoff games of any of the super elites since 2009... Cupcakeville.. I do rank the Cats as #5 overall program because of the 2006-7-8 seasons of 6-3... None of the other 4 teams had a similar stretch... It'd be interesting to see who each team beat and what were respective D3.com end of regular season rankings.. I'd expect the West bracket is the toughest rankings-wise...

There are only 2 Elite Teams in D3 at this time in history... Mount Union and Whitewater. IMHO..........we've never played MUC but I believe the times we've played Whitewater...we played them closer than Wesley looking at the scores.

I wanted Wesley and I got 'em but they did their job.
The top 4 now are the elite teams.
When LINFIELD fumbles games away they still have a tad more to do.
At least you have to beat LINFIELD to get out of the West.

Oh i would agree. You can chop up the top of Division III into as many tiers as you want. Bottom line is that Mount and Whitewater are still 1 and 2. To leave no doubt, you have to beat them. +k

That side of the bracket was death that year though (2011). Wesley, MHB, Linfield in their own group. Then had to go through Mount just to get to the Stagg.
