Also heading to Lewinsky & Clark. Will leave all cigar activity to Bluenote. Am hoping for an interesting game but not planning on it. May all the Cats get to play and may there be no injuries to either team.

Probably going to be a traditional late-October rainy day. GO CATS!

..... +K!

I never could get an audio feed of Linfield@Lewis&Clark. I guess the game was over before it started!  ???
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

totally---it was not a very fun game to watch.....don't get me wrong--I love it when the Cats blow out their opponents but after the 42 point first quarter...the backups were in and just didn't play as well as I hoped they would....there were some nice plays but there was also some slop (a fumble, giving up a TD, missed tackles, etc.).....still--another win and lots of guys got to play and gain experience....I think I saw Bluenote take a few snaps near the end there.... ::)
Go Cats!

L&C had a girl on the team...#16. I heard she was a kicker transfer from Willamette.  :-X

...ya I snapped a photo of the blonde kicker for DOC.

And as if on cue, Wheaton gets a delay call or time out or something...after the clock "never went to 40"! Next play--TD pass for Wheaton who takes a 10-9 lead.
Go Cats!

So the Whitworth QB threw 7 TD passes----UPS threw 7 INTs (and lost 2 fumbles)!!!!   :o
Go Cats!

It was very windy at Lewis & Clark today. The radio station carrying the game in Portland was blown off the air twice during the game. Actually the game was over before the national anthem. L&C only had about 45-50 kids suited up...few with any noticeable talent...a few but not many.

It was a tough game to watch...especially in the 42-point first quarter. You love the win, but feel sorry that their program has fallen so far from "back in the day."

Mr. Ypsi

The game was over the moment it was scheduled.

....agree. Not sure why they can't get more numbers and talent being right in Portland. It's a great school, campus, location, etc.

The cats would have been better off staying at home and scrimmage. After the first quarter I didnt need security to make me leave.

I couldn't agree more about what MC is saying!
That game left me with an uneasy feeling and I just can't nail it down as to why....except for what MC is saying.
My wife and I sat and watched and felt fine because it was obvious that a "W" was on the way.  But other than that is was
not a fun game.  Our 2s and 3s getting reps is a great opportunity to have and, in this case....necessary!

Coach Smith's pre game interview, had some real good thoughts on why Lewis and Clarks football program may always struggle.
Ironically, the only people still scared of this virus, are the vaccinated.
