How come I don't hear any of you young 'CATS were at the DOME today and you're in Corvallis tonight?
It's Football Season!

BTW....speedynbigboy, I believe P.C. said PLU is still top 10 West.

Wow, while I'm biased and think overall we had a better season then Pacific, I figured we didn't have a prayer.  Pacific did finish second so I have to give them props for beating us but those early losses of theirs gotta look bad for the selection committee.

We've squeaked into the playoffs before and made a run to the championship so I'm ready for the boys to give it a shot if the selection committee is so inclined.

Pat Coleman

We did not rank PLU in the West, FWIW.

Thanks for listening to the show, those that made it in! Appreciate it!

O.K.  Can I just be the first to say that ****IF***** the bracket turns out the way the guys have projected it following last night's exercise it may be a very favorable bracket for the CATS and possibly a time when being geographically isolated helps us this year.  Not only do we still have the potential for 2 home games (despite our 1 loss record), but neither of the second round (if we can win the first round) opponents are ranked above 20 14 (at least in last week's d3 poll).  Sure we would then have to face MHB in the quarters but when you get to that point you are going to see either WW, MHB, MTU, or Wesley so what does it really matter?  It will be a long day waiting to see how things actually turn out---especially since it's only 6:00 AM and I've already been up for an hour!  :-\

GO CATS!

Corrected--I misread or misremembered and thought it was Framingham St. at Center---but WandJ will drop anyway since they lost yesterday...

After last week's performances this may be the year I'd rather see WW or MUC than UMHB...

Seriously though, how did you guys lose to Willamette? That might be the most mind-bottling result this season.

So what happened in that game was:  1)  I was locked up in a continuing education course in the basement of a hospital and could not get the feed on my phone.  and 2) The course was out of town and I drove down that morning and thus did not have time for pancakes.....  I figured it was an easy win but I was wrong...I take full responsibility :)

They were uttered but as one of the 3 or 4 teams that were hovering around that 10th spot...along with pacific, concordia moorhead, etc.....and nowhere near getting a playoff spot since the West Region was basically plugged up with WIAC and MIAC runnerups.
