ADvantage 'Catdome: An Open Letter from Coach Smith on the death of Parker Moore.

Thank you Coach for your inspiring and very thoughtful letter.

Now THAT was powerful! Wow. Not at all hard to see the fabric of character in Coach Smith.  It's obvious Linfield is about all the right things. An easy team to root for (until the collision with UW-W of course).

Once again, my deepest condolences to and prayers for Parker's family and all of Wildcat Nation.  That young man's life was way too short in terms of years, but very full, and more impactful than most who live to 90.

OK, just this once I'll say it: Go Cats!

Whatever happens on Maxwell Field this afternoon, here's to the entire experience bringing some degree of ... comfort? relief? release? Perhaps even joy? I'm struggling for the right word ... to both the football team and the entire Linfield community. There are a lot of young men out there who may be dealing with the death of a peer for the first time, and under bizarre circumstances to boot; processing that happens in different ways and at different speeds. May they go out and handle it the healthiest way possible for each individual.

Well put---we all want a win but even more I want those guys to have fun and play to the best of their ability (whatever that may be at this particular time).

So....I missed the pancakes. Had blueberries, blackberries, cashews, pecans, walnuts, almonds, and some "organic" cereal from COSTCO all mixed with almond milk outside in the AM sun while I made my two hens see how high they could jump for a nut.

Going to watch an east coast game now. I'll post.

Wittenberg and Widner down by 14 already.

Sunny in Baltimore.
Rowan palatable in mostly white uniforms with a tiny bit of brown and yellow.
Hopkins black with baby blue numbers and highlights. Trouble is their field has baby blue soccer lines running everywhere. Very distracting.

Hopkins fumbles into end zone and Rowan gets it at 20. Hopkins holds. 1st play? 48 yard TD pass. Second quarter about to start
14-0, Hops.

Since my last post I drove 45 miles to LAX. If plane is on time I just might see kick off.
Watching for MCat observations here.

Why would they delay the game because it is getting lighter outside? ;D
