Congratulations to the Cats for their win at UMHB. I have a feeling you will be making your way to the midwest in a couple of weeks. Sure hope it is to Wisconsin and not to Iowa!  ;)

coco

Coco here. Long time listener, first time caller. In about a year!
And it's another great day to be a Wildcat!
I have a question. D3 has Linfield at #10 and Widener at #11, while the AFCA has Widener at #10. Is that the holdup in announcing the site for next week? D3 is the Bible, right?
Wildcat11, you are the most knowledgeable, so I'm going by what you say, but why the delay? The local radio guys announced the game as being at Widener immediately.
A belated Happy Thanksgiving to all!

The NCAA doesn't care about either ranking. Widener is the host, and that is official.

I hope to see Coco and the lovely Mrs. Coco out here in Iowa as the Wildcats continue their nationwide tour.  Wartburg would enjoy hosting the Wildcats out here in flyover country.  It isn't exactly cut and dried.  The Knights need to take care of some business this week up at U W Whitewater first.  I hope the Wildcats wave and bring the Knights some luck as the Linfield Dirigible passes over corn country on their way to Pennsylvania this week.

Hats off to Linfield, they came, they saw, they conquered. They just whipped UMHB on Saturday. Not much else to be said. I wish the Wildcats well next week as they travel to take on Widener.

Expecting a Linfield win Saturday in PA. Hoping to get you up to Wisconsin rather than Iowa.

Got back late last night from Catdome Texas and wow...what a game. Cats had a couple of good things happen which helped.  When UMHB won the toss they deferred which I think they felt with their D  would get a stop and make Cats punt into that wind. That decision cost for two reasons first it meant UMHB would be throwing into and kicking into wind in 4th quarter. Second they discounted Cats recent history of moving the ball early and scoring quickly. Although Cats didn't score they moved the ball well before they stalled and field position became Advantage Cats. The decision to take all three timeouts to force Cats to punt into the wind was a gift l think the Cats were happy with. That punt was hit well and although the return for UMHB was even better even though Cats right side gunner was zeroed in when he was blocked from behind which seemed to be confirmed on replay board with no flag. Still we couldn't figure out why UMHB from strategy standpoint made that decision to go the rest of the way with no timeouts. When they got the ball inside Cats 20 after turnover a timeout would have been a big help. Another key for the Cats was Riddle's several 3rd down conversions with his arm. Talk about threading the needle.  I think that wore mentally on the UMHB D-backs. Profs to our O line and their protection of Riddle all day against a big D-line but those 3rd down conversions were big not only for scoring opportunities but field position. Don't know what to say about those 4th down conversions other than #32 for UMHB is a heck of a player. Started as Sam backer as a freshman and now being just a soph UMHB will have fun with him for the next couple of years. Others have said it but l want to add to it UMHB Crusader Stadium is over the top. Also The UMBH fans before and after the game were as respectful and generous as you could find...outside of the Catdome😉.

OldCatProfs to our O line?

They should have the game ball for the last three games.

This year you can't figure out the fake punts!  Just kidding.  Congratulations on the win. Best of luck the rest of the way.

Widener vs CNU game is available on Livestream.  I'm impressed by how big, fast, and aggressive the Widener front 4 have been been. Their AA wide receiver is the real deal...

I was happy to see the Cat defense finally stay on the field for that last 4th down play... Probably needed to have done that the prior 4th down.

Great win! Now to go back East!

Baylor Mullins is insane.  The kid has great instincts and can play multiple positions (as evidenced by his punting, linebacker and DB duties).  He was a QB in high school, too.  Cru fans are all hoping he steps up into the leadership role next year and inspires the same level of play in others.  Thanks for the kind words.  We're all very proud of the facilities here in Belton.  Now we just need to have a better fan turnout in the playoffs!  I understand the reasons, though.  Holiday weekend and all.  I know most people opt to spend time with family.  As for me, well, I just buy them all tickets to the game.   ;)

Good luck next week, fellas.  Hope to play the Cats again before too long.
