You gotta love our mature announcers. From the d3 front page comments to the game reviews d3forme
QuoteThen I flipped over to the Linfield broadcast where they inform that UWW was playing WartHOG and that the latter school is located in Ohio. (?!?!?!?)

But even more he educated me on the two Widener announcers I had a hard time with....

Among some of my Widener announcer favs during the 45-7 drubbing:

playing.

d3forme obviously heard what we were hearing.

That is funny MC. So the Pride's coach had an excuse the boys in the booth didn't use? Im sure they would have had they known. Kind of sad to be honest, what did he think? Chip slipped Coach Smith the master game plan of the pride?
Great game today Cats. Total domination on both sides of the ball. Its a great day to be a Wildcat!!
Believe!
leave no doubt!!
One game at a time!!!
Go Cats!
Only at a D3 football game could you have 2 seats on the 50 yard line (2 rows behind bluenote) and have an obstructed view!
I love D3 Football!!!

Wow coach! I guess I can see being a little annoyed...but to bring it up publicly with anger after totally getting drilled??? I think he'll feel pretty foolish in a few days.

Nice win for the Wildcats. Keep it rolling

Great day to be a Wildcat!!!!!!

Philly was a great trip. Coach Smith did it right with the Eagles facility, visiting Philadelphia Museum of Art (Rocky Steps), and Independence hall tour on Friday and then today's performance. Love these 'Cats!

I would like to thank the Cats forgetting up soon enough that I could watch uww and mount in their games
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

In case you don't follow the catdomealumni twitter:  this is pretty funny---Widener coach somehow implying that Chip Kelly gave the Cats an edge..... http://www.oregonlive.com/collegefootball/index.ssf/2014/12/sam_riddle_linfield_cruise_pas.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
He gave them so much of an edge he convinced Widener they were going to have trouble running, passing & tackling today ;Da

Through the upcoming Whitewater trip including the Cats 2 Catdome South trips, 1 Austin Texas, 1 Philadelphia, and 1 Milwaukee Trip will have 14,669 air miles racked up !  Maybe NCAA should buy us a nice 737-900 for Xmas🎅

Those comments from the Widener coach are ridiculous. Maybe he should try building a relationship with the Eagles and not be an a$$ about Linfield reaching out and using their facility.  ANyone who makes up a stupid complaint like that after getting destroyed at home is just a bad loser, nothing else.  He should take a page out of Linfield's book and learn some class in victory or defeat.

We just HAD to take them off the schedule and get Division III games. Probably would have been enjoyable game though.
Congrats to LINFIELD ex-linebacker Craig Howard for getting his Southern Oregon team into the NAIA finals. Please take note: in DAYTONA BEACH FLORIDA, not Whitewater "Please hand me the shovel" Wisconsin.

Did Widener coach realize LINFIELD had him pegged?

catjumper

The comment by Widener's coach brought back a memory from a long-ago Linfield quarterfinal. After Cal Lutheran lost a close game in McMinnville in 1982, its coach said something to the effect that the Cal Lu was two touchdowns better on any other field, on any other day - this after his quarterback had just completed 30-some of 50-some passes for 400-plus yards or something like that, in an era when those were ridiculous numbers. How much more did he think the kid was going to do?

Sometimes, when you get beat, the only post-game remedy is a fine whine.

U of O
Southern O
and
Linfield

all in the final four of their respective divisions.  Break up the monopoly, Oregon appears to be the new hotbed of football in the U.S.

Yep, all those young California families moved there.
