My family's thoughts and prayers are with Tim and his family.

Thoughts and prayers for TuxGuy from all the Warthog clan out here in flyover country.  I only met once, but that one encounter convinced me he is a good guy.  Hope he has a successful recovery.

Please say a prayer for my longtime friend and avid Linfield supporter TuxGuy (Tim Howard) who suffered a severe stroke early this morning and is at OHSU now with family and friends. (I just got back from being there) I know he and his family would appreciate it.
Oh no!  I am so sorry to hear this.  Tim was the poster who smuggled me a copy of the game tape, no audio, back in 05 after, "the game," when there was no other recording to get.   Before WC11 put his video together.   He was so kind and honored my wish to remain incognito on the boards for me at the time.  Please, give him my best and I will be praying for a quick and complete recovery!

Oh my god, I just saw this.  I got to meet TuxGuy (and Bluenote) when Whitewater played at Willamette in 2008, and I made the trip out there.  Tux and I had exchanged a couple of emails so that I could track him down and meet him, and it was a very welcoming exchange.  We even touched base a couple of times after.

My best wishes to a first rate guy.  Hang in there, pal.  Pulling for you.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

This was a post from Tim's (Tuxguys) brother last night on Facebook:

at the end of the day the doctor came into the room and informed us that the entire left side of Tims brain has died, some of the signs we were seeing may have just been hope on our side, he may never be able to talk as this area controls speech, and he most likely wont get any movement back on his right side, things do not look very good at this point and so your prayers are still very welcome and please know that Jacquie is going to need a great deal of support, the doctor was not very incouraging about the chances of tim being able to live without being in a "skilled nursing facility" we all thank you for your prayers as we continue to hold on to hope, these are very difficult times for all but I know they will be very hard for both Jacquie and my Mother and Adam and thank you all for you kind words and prayers.

Thank you for everyone's concern and prayers......Bluenote
