Does anyone know why homecoming for the Cats is the first game of the year this year. Seems to me we should have to travel for one game first. Don't get it maybe it's a typo.
Not Linfields idea.  NWC made schedule changes. Game will be at 12:30.

Don't know what the NWC has to do with when you schedule your homecoming.

Anyone hear rumors of Corban University starting up football and at the same time going from NAIA to D3?

Yeah, Bluenote started those. Wait to hear it from about 10 more people before you give it any more thought.

The Cats were nice enough to schedule our game at noon, so we can get the heck out of town that night...hoping the game is respectable this year, but your QB is tough, he scares me more than #55. I think he will end up in some NFL rookie camp when he is done playing.

BTW, Since Californians measure everything in drive time, how long does it take to get to PDX from the Catdome?

Less than two more years of Gavin.

Depends on traffic through Portland (and Dundee) but about 1 hr 15 min on a typical afternoon, 1 hour on a clear road day.

Sam's pretty damn good......for an Honorable Mention All-NWC QB.   ::)

Last time it took 90 min. Traffic was light....but I'm a slow driver and had to make a couple pit stops  ;D

d-train... I've never even heard of Corban University.... but I'll take credit since it generated 2 posts in the offseason....   ::)

Really Blue? I've heard of it and seen the signs for it along I-5. It is Salem.

Is that the one located next to the asylum or the state pen?

I'm curious about the Frontier Conference schools (NAIA). Wouldn't it make sense for them to go DIII and form a super NWC conference? Not sure if they would fit academically but how cool would a NWC West & NWC East be. They could meet for a conference title game, Linfield vs. Carroll for all the marbles has a nice ring to it.
