Westside

I've been watching a few top 10 games this morning and I gotta say, we Linfield fans have it so good with our QB play. Today should be a fun one.

I am looking forward to a bit of "Cat Dome" hospitality tomorrow afternoon. Weather report says 65 and overcast - easy on the eyes. I've been in "Mac" all week on business and looking forward to a good game unwinding with other D3 fans.

Go Cats!

Nice running into you this AM Art.  Hope you enjoyed the 'Catdome!

Had a real good time - thanx for introducing yourself! Great atmosphere inside. I did stroll through the tailgating section and didn't meet up with any of the other D3 board regulars, so I went into the stadium and got a burger and coke there.

I expressed it already on the West Regional fan poll page and will here again, the reserved seating is really hard on tall folk - and there was no apparent relief without infringing on the folks around you. But all in all, a great atmosphere to watch a really good team take it to their opponents.

76... I've never once watched a  game from those stands.
Not many will disagree with your viewpoint (get it?).   :)

Seats in the back row (section D) are good for tall people providing you don't get very close to the press box. upper half of section A does not have backs so is more relaxing without kneeing the fans in front but can't go to the top rows or you won't see the scoreboard.

Why would anyone be sitting in the Cat Dome.....With what we have been watching the past 60 years, we should all be on are feet! Thought the game plan on both sides of the ball yesterday was perfection. Great job players and coaching staff.
Ironically, the only people still scared of this virus, are the vaccinated.

In reference to seating I say bring back the couches!

"Riddle has time...." one of my favorites coming from the broadcast booth.
Go Cats! Make it 62 in '17!

Couches.... OK.....I say bring back the foam pole vault pad that used to sit 20 feet from the SE corner of the end zone. Could get ten people on it comfortably.

I appreciate that Linfield has a lethal team, a team that could be better than the 2004 team, (look at the scores through 6 games), and the only fans on the board are bitching that the seat dimensions of a 100 yr old stadium are insufficient.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

What we should be talking about is the ceiling for this team. Natty or bust, I say!!

Well, outside of Linfield the far west is waaaay down. Whitworth still has a ways to go and because of that, I'm not upset they got smoked. Make sure those coaches see in person what it takes to be a national title contender. Linfield is the real deal this year, should coast to the semi's

I don't think this Wildcat team knows how to coast!  :)

Whitworth is doing a lot of good things and I would feel great with the direction they're headed.  Next year's game up in the Pine Bowl should be a good one.

Great story on Alex Hoff on Fox12 last night.  I can't remember a Linfield Defender having so much impact on a weekly basis since I've been around (94) and I've seen a lot of great Wildcat defenders.  I'm sure some of the other posters could put Alex's last two years into a program historical perspective.  He's a Hall of Fame lock for sure.
