Catville Commissioner Elect

Hopefully you will be able to make the Tailgate.  It is always a pleasure to meet someone from another very classy program and school.  Linfield and UMHB are building quite a bit of a friendly rivalry and it looks like it will pick up early next year in pre-season.  Wouldn't have it any other way.  Maybe me and Mrs. Mayorcat can make it down to UMHB.  She has a son that served at Fort Hood and now is in the Houston area.  A good visit down that way during FB season would be appropriate.  Let me know if i can do anything for you while you are in Catville Mayor's town.  Hope to see you Saturday.

Just listened to UMHB Coach Pete Fredenburg on the radio..... that guy is a class act. Enjoyed the interview very much...... talked about the season... playoffs and upcoming game with Linfield. Very good speaker and was straight down the middle.

Enjoyed it!

I've been to a few UMHB games as well as a few Linfield games and I think both programs represent their schools very well. I see too many D1 programs that are an absolute embarrassment to their schools so it's refreshing. I'll be in Oregon for Saturday's contest and I am really looking forward to it.

Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

Since d3 doesn't require any injury reports, and no one from inside the cats brain trust will (rightfully) say anything, trying to guess whether Riddle will play is like trying to guess how drunk I'll get at the tailgate- you just never know, and you'll have to show up to see.

HA!  I'm guessing you'll be wobbly drunk but not fall down on your face drunk.

...and yes, it's not my place to speculate or report on specific injury or status.  I'll let the staff handle that.
I get good info down at the Blue Moon. Here it is Alex Hoff is starting at QB

I think you're on to something... clearly Coach Boehme has already taught Hoff how to hurdle opposing players

ADvantage 'Catdome: 2015 National Quarterfinals Preview: Linfield (11-0) vs Mary Hardin-Baylor (11-1)

Well said and fair analysis by WC 11.
What can we do....trust the coaches and the team to "Do What They Do"
We need to do what 11 suggests...get to that game, call others and don't take no for an answer,
FILL THOSE SEATS AND ROCK THE CATDOME!

No matter what happens,  this is very likely the last game we get to attend without leaving town!!!

Is it really believed that Linfield would go on the road for the semis?

If Linfield and St. Thomas won; yes, most people assume Linfield would go on the road. They were ranked behind St. Thomas in the last regional ranking, so I guess it is assumed the Tommies host.

Interesting. I guess I didn't look closely at the regional ranking, just that Linfield has steadily been higher than UST all year in the top 25s.  We'd be happy to host, but my bro lives in Tigard and I was kind of hoping for an excuse to go visit him and see my godson.

Why not, Schwami?  I'm aboard. Would prefer to meet a new program.

Nah, I think mrs_jamto would be quite pleased if I didn't abandon her with 3 kids under 5 a few weeks before Christmas (although I did offer to bring the 1 year old with me, as she has a 1 year old cousin in Oregon to beat up on and would fly free - she turns 2 that Sunday though).
