Thank-you Seniors. Been a great ride.

Congrats to Linfield on an incredible season. Lord what dlip would give for Union to be on your level. Great program with great teams year in and year out. Dlip has a ton of respect for you and he is proud as **** to have rooted for Linfield.

Again, congrats on the great season and best of luck next year!

Nice showing today.  Good to see a team keep playing.  Kudos to Linfield.  Tough way to end the season.

Our ass  was handed to us. Kudoos to the Tommies. Good luck in the STAGG.  We will be back.

Linfield fought the whole game. Respect and a tip of the cap. Love DIII and your squad. Hopefully we run into each other again. Catdome wails.

A tough finish, but another great season for the 'Cats. Thanks to all those who work so hard to make 'Catdome Saturdays so special. Given how many of the key components from this team come back, I'm already eager for next season.

I can get a bit wrapped up in history (thanks to some great teachers in my past, including Prof. Million), but I'll go ahead and offer a final note providing a bit of perspective and promise:

As successful as Linfield football has been for as long as it has been, the 2014 and 2015 seasons mark just the third time in school history the Wildcats have reached the national semifinals in back-to-back seasons. (The others were 1964-65 and 1977-78.)

And those back-to-back trips to the semis demonstrate how this program is continuing to grow under Joseph Smith. After not reaching the playoffs in his first three seasons as head coach, then at least a mildly out-of-nowhere trip to the semis in 2009, Linfield reached the second round in 2010 and 2011, the quarterfinals in 2012 and 2013, and the semifinals in 2014 and 2015. That's steady progress even as the steps get harder to take.

Here's looking forward to seeing the 'Cats reach the next level in 2016.
