Nice job Cat, thanks for keeping UR down to just three clips.

yeah...a bunch of clips of guys walking it into the end zone from 3 yards out isn't very exciting so I didn't use very many Redlands clips.

Be nice your offense struggled in the first half....UR offense did not have first down until late in the second quarter, UR defense did a great job defending I think 9 short fields, could of been more, I am old....in the first half. Even the fumble recovery we were driven out of FG range..

Wabash (D-III – IN): Jeff Ramsey, who coordinated the defensive at Puget Sound (D-III – WA) last season, has been hired by Wabash in the same capacity.

Kind of surprised me!

Staff continuity is a big deal and this will be the Loggers 3rd or 4th DC in the past 4 of 5 seasons....that's a tough loss for the Loggers.

Off-season banter (though not as current as DC)

Quote• Jay Triano, the Trail Blazers' lead assistant coach, was a star basketball player at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia. But he also spent some time on the gridiron.

Triano was a member of the Canadian national basketball team that qualified for the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow but was part of the U.S.-led boycott. At the time, Simon Fraser was the only Canadian university playing American football. The Clansmen participated as an independent and played against teams such as Western Washington, Central Washington, Eastern Washington, Montana and Idaho. The 6-4, 180-pound Triano turned out for the sport as a senior that fall.

"I wanted to play receiver, but I was a defensive back," Triano says. "(Coaches) didn't want me getting hit. Turned out to be the best thing ever for me. I loved hitting people."

Triano helped the Clansmen to a 5-4 record and was taken by Calgary in the sixth round, with the 51st pick overall, in the CFL draft. His career was to be in basketball, but he also loves oval ball, too, and was disappointed to have not played against Linfield in his one season of college football.

"That's one of the programs I've always respected," Triano says. "To this day, I respect what (the Wildcats) do in football. When I was coaching basketball at Simon Fraser (1988-95), I'd drive down with our football coaches to watch Linfield play — six hours one way.

"Simon Fraser had 300-pound guys going to the CFL, but they got kicked by Linfield. (The Wildcats) were smaller, but their technique was just so impressive. I was blown away. I've always respected good coaching. That's one of the programs I've always looked up to. I follow their scores every season."

I hate this time of year!  Weather's not good, fishing's not good, it gets dark too early and it's not football season.

Nice and sunny here in BTown.  Just rolled through the Cru's schedule for 2016 and the first three games are looking fun.

Week 1: Ohio Wesleyan University--H
Week2: Texas Lutheran University--A
Week 3: Linfield College               -- H

Going to a fun start to the year.

Hard to gauge off seasons, but I know UMHB has seemed to focus on OLine, kicking, and WR. Should be a good class.  Biggest change is at Offensive Coordinator. Going to be interesting to see how he changes or tweaks things.

I know it is early, but never too early for football, but any of y'all planning to make the trip?
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Me too.  I've got a nice 2.5 hour drive.  It'll be HOT, y'all bring sunscreen.

D O.C.

A few of us are weighing the 2000 mile drive vs. the expense of flight.

I'll be there for sure umhb2001. Heard it might be a night game too....
