Unfortunately not.  Have to attend a birthday for my old man who is turning 70.  I'll get down there at some point this year and will probably be there for the HSU rematch....although I might not be welcome after the last few times I have attended CRU games.

Kelly Boggs

You're always welcome, Jack! If you've never done Miller's, we'll have take care of that on a future trip. Have a safe trip and a good time with family.

If anyone wants to come down a day or two early and get some dove hunting in, let me know. Or if anyone in DFW is going down for the game and wants to have some company with a total stranger...let me know.

FYI: Early weather forecast for Saturday at The CRUthedral per Weather Underground: Temps during the game are expected to be around 80 degrees (really nice for this time of the year in Central Texas) and, during the game, there is around a 30% chance of rain. There is a 60% chance of rain for the early afternoon.

Agreed 11 poor tackle and bad coverage and a great return, kid was fast.
He was fast--not sure about the "shushing" gesture that he made at the end of the run...but a nice return nonetheless.
Didn't see that I was standing at the 3 where the hit and no wrap of arms took place, then he was gone. Have to admit, there was silence accept  for the Chapman people.

11,

Had a ton of football work late last week, so didn't have the chance to wish you another excellent season from the sidelines in 2016. That question I posed to you a while back has been resolved, Coach Smith came through with flying colors. Enjoy and appreciate your work, and I'm sure not alone in that regard.

Noticed Linfield has different pants this season, but isn't this the third version of purple pants the Cats have worn? Before the solid color purple pants, wasn't there a mid 90s version with a red stripe? I seem to recall a photo of a game at Eastern Oregon, could you fill in the blanks? As I remember, the red stripe did not have a white border to it.

One more forecast update from Weather Underground for Saturday's game at The CRUthedral: Less than 10% chance of rain during the game with temps in the mid to upper 80s and a very slight southerly breeze. A 15% chance of rain during the afternoon with a high of 91. It looks like a picture-perfect fall day for Central Texas; a great day for D3 college football!

Headed out tonight!  Looking forward to the game, the food, and maybe seeing some of y'all (can I say that if I'm from Southern California?)  What would be a good time to show up at the game (as far a parking, getting tickets, etc....)?
