Probably just wishful thinking on my part. I don't want to travel to Texas. The players don't care but Texas is low on my 'places to revisit list'. And it's high on my 'places I'd be fine if I never ever come even remotely near again' list.
Saturday will be the most epic tailgate ever, especially if my wife gives birth under the Quick-Shade.

No surprise that LC is on the road.   Heck, there is no guarantee that the Wildcats will have any home playoff game.   That horrible loss may have consequences.

Here is my wild playoff match-up for the West:

Round 1:

1.   UWW hosts 7. Northwestern
2.   St. Thomas hosts 6. Monmouth
3.   Coe hosts 5. St. John's
4.   Linfield hosts 8. Redlands

Round 2:
Winner of 1-7 meets winner of 4-8
Winner of 2-6 meets winner of 3-5

I think UW-Oshkosh will be moved to the North.    They deserve a shot away from UW-W.

George

Based on recent history....Linfield will be in a West Coast/Texas bracket.  Best hope is that the 'Cats get home games before UMHB but could very likely be out to Texas in round 2....
Going out on a limb and saying all questions will be answered Nov 13th.

I dunno--it often seems like more questions emerge once the bracket is announced....   ;D
Go Cats!

My guess is a return trip to Texas would be extremely high on the players list....as it should be.

If that's the case I look for Blake Jackson to run a whole lot more, by design or force.

Wow that drive was miserable up and back in pouring rain.... and the UPS field is a pigsty! YOu'd think with that field they'd be a running team but no, they can only rush for 40 yards.  :P

Did you at least stop at the Country Cousins for breakfast?
Go Cats!

Love that place but I went to The Rib Eye this time which was easier to get to and was great also...

OK blue, fess up. Were you one of the LINFIELD faithful the UPS play-by-play guys kept lauding as brave souls....or did you wimp out and sit on the UPS side under the cover?

Most of the Linfield people were in the stands under cover. I'm sure if you were there you'd be walking the sideline and looking like a soaked opossum.

Anybody else think UMHB will leap frog UWW in this weeks Top 25?

You are correct.
If Wildcat11, Rusty Rae, Kelly Bird, Tim Marsh and the cheerleaders can walk the field, so shall I.
(That way if an overthrown ball comes my way I can catch it and impress the cheerleaders some more)

bluenote

Well that is more admirable than streaking down the field in your birthday suit.
