The projected bracket is crazy.... North Central, Linfield, Mount Union and Whitewater all in one bracket?  ::)

I can not imagine LC receiving any favorable bracket.    Or more than one home game.    Playing MHB, H-S, St. Thomas, UW-Oshkosh or St. John's would be no better.   Maybe even tougher.

Regardless, our Wildcats will play any of them tough and could pull some upsets.

I kind of like it---Whitewater seems like a team that can be beat this year---and we keep hoping for a matchup with Mt. Union....maybe this is the year we achieve two of our wishes!

After the standard SCIAC whooping, this would be a great year for Linfield and MU to meet. Neither totally dominant. Would love to get them to the west coast. Frankly, just want to see them have to travel somewhere besides Virginia.

Whoa, not playing Redlands in round one.

Going to Hardin-Simmons... That's brutal, in my opinion.

What the ???? We're traveling in the first round?!

IMO: Linfield got hosed by the NCAA. The Cats deserved a home game in the first round.

I agree, I like to see that the committee did some good things this year. 1. Not pitting any conference foes in the first round.
2. Mt Union, whose stats this year barely get them in, goes on the road, looks like for multiple rounds.
BUT..........
The only reason for HSU to host Linfield instead of the other way around is to give HSU that slight advantage in hopes they beat Linfield so no flight for round two.  That, in my opinion, is pathetic!

Yeah--they "splurged" on 3 first round flights with hopes of 0 second round flights.

Linfield should just win that first game and stay in Texas all week.  Then the NCAA penny-pinchers can really save some bucks.

right---how much can a week of hotels cost? and a thanksgiving dinner for a football team, and a couple of buses, and....hmmm....

I thought I had a basic understanding of the criteria used by the committee...I missed something!

Higher D3football.com ranking for Linfield...not considered....UNDERSTOOD!

Record...HSU= 9-1
Record...Linfield = 8-1
Does this have meaning?   I don't know???

SOS..This really does have meaning.
Linfield = 51
HSU.....= 58

Either team has to fly to the other...that's a push!

Please help me get a handle on the decision to fly Linfield to HSU.

Surprised you guys got the flight. Glad they avoided the TX Rd 1 rematch, bummer that it burned one of the other teams that always gets hosed in Rd 1.

On the whole though, this years tourney feels wide open. I really think there are several teams that have a real shot at the Stagg. I'd love to see you guys in a rematch at the Taj in Rd 2. Those games have been epic. Good luck Linfield
