Good luck to the Cats today

Don't worry Mcat, I won't be there in person to jinx em
well now if we do poorly it will be because you didn't go 😏
Well, if it's ritual tea leaf reading time....hot cakes, waffles or dare you serve the
always good luck breakfast burrito? 🤔

No kidding though...we have the pieces in place and our guys have Moore heart...IMHO.

Good season, 'Cats - and great careers for the seniors.

Now to start working on filling a lot of big holes ...

Thanks to the coaching staff, you players for all your hard effort. It's a great day to be a 'CAT.
Thanks to the LINFIELD Family.

Hats off to the Cats on another great year. Riddle is a competitor. No quit in that young man. We'll see you at The Catdome in September.

Hats off to Linfield! Great game and never any quit. Always a pleasure to play y'all.

Biggest difference was DLine. Our guys were in the backfield all day, and the Cru Oline kept yours at bay. See y'all next fall.
Watch out for the wreckingCRU defense!!

Great season, 'Cats. I'm going to miss watching so many of these great SRs - more so than a lot of years. We had the talent to make a much deeper run had we not had to play the 'Cru so early, but so it goes for us way out here in D3's no man's land.

Props to the coaching staff, they figured out a way to run effectively against UMHB this time.

It's too bad our O-line couldn't protect - or likely UMHB's D-line was so good. Riddle is likely the best QB we've had since Elliott, and we've had some really good ones. But he was rarely able to set his feet because he was getting pressured heavily or hit almost every time he dropped back. This really disrupted our potent passing game and we were never quite able to get going.

At least this time I feel like we got beat instead of beating ourselves with a comedy of errors like the first time.

And we should take a lot of pride in going all the way to Texas and dominating a very good Hardin-Simmons team on the road.

Reload for next year 'Cats! Congrats on a great season.
A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Out of the woodwork Foss!

See you at the UMHB game next season. Reload.

See you then, D O.C.!

UMHB proved to us (twice) you can break an 0 for 4 streak.

Now we need to do the same against a team like UW-W, who I know we'll see again sometime and have lost 4 close games to.

We need to beat UMHB in the regular season next year.

Because if we don't and are still fortunate enough to go the rest of the season and win the NWC without losing another game other than to the #1 team in the country (what a crime), from what I can tell, the playoff committee will likely send us to Mt. Union, UW-Whitewater or UMHB in the 1st round and this time give whoever we're playing a 14 point lead before kickoff.

You are right.   Our lines were outplayed.   MHB had very large, physical and fast linemen.

Interesting comment from that key MHB receiver: "We (MHB) just watched film, studied how they played," Josey said. "We knew when we lined up in a certain way how they would man up on us and we took advantage of it."

Too much truth about that 1st round game opponent!!

MUC 56 - Alfred 14

Alfred is 12-0, and not all of their opponents have been junior high teams. :P  The E8 is a stronger conference than the NWC, and they are the first team in ages to run the table.

I expect UMU (hasn't been MUC for several years now) will win, but will be surprised if they win by more than 14, and an Alfred win would not be a shock.

Pat Coleman

I disagree with you on that part, Mr. Y. I don't know if 56-14 is right, but I think it could be.

I'd like to see Alfred beat SJU, Plattville or Hardin Simmons in the first round.
