If you're interested in comparing recent history, here's a tool you might find interesting. It compares up to 12 team's ratings in my model every week since 1999. There have been plenty of times over the last decade-plus where Linfield has been the highest rated team in the country, most recently at the beginning of the 2013 playoffs. In a handful of the games you mentioned below, Linfield was favored going into the game, but couldn't pull off the W.

A mini-Willamette reunion is taking place at UC-Davis.  Dan Hawkins was named head coach a bit ago and it looks like Speckman is hooking back up as RB coach/Assistant Head Coach.  I would assume that means they won't be going full FLY offense but I'm sure Davis will be using part of that in their attack.
